I have to say Crusade. I've just started watching this show, literally, this past week and ended up watching and rewatching that episode over and over.

Kal El in the buff and flying like Superman - what could possibly be better?

Of course the episode after it w/ all of the Lois and Clark interaction was great also :)

Season four was very hit-or-miss for me, but I ended up liking a lot of episodes that seem to get trashed around here. Not necessarily because they are "good", but they are fun and very rewatchable.

That being said, my favorite episodes are "Crusade", "Run", "Spell", "Unsafe", "Pariah", "Spirit", and "Commencement".

Which one is it that has the slutty sexy vampires in it? Is that this season's. Anyhow i'm weird so I actually liked the witch ones Spell, and whatever the other one's name is. Commencement of course and Crusade of course. Its been a long time since i've seen any of this season because I just now went back and started to watch all the way through. I'm only up to Season 2 and about the sixth show so far. I also love Run.

I also have to add Onyx. I think Lex has one of the best lines of the whole series so far in it........"I AM the villian of the story".

Spell cuz it was very fun and I love the witchcraft in it, XD.

Unsafe and Pariah because Chloe learned the secret and Alicia is awesome.

Spirit was so much fun to watch. Especially Annette O'Toole.

Commencement was an awesome way to end the season.

And any scene with Lois made the other episodes with Lois good. Especially when there's Clois in it.

My favorite episode would definitely have to be "RUN!" This was the episode when Clark (aka Superman) first encountered another DC Hero in Bart (aka Flash) This episode was done perfectly. It was also cool in the ending when the two were racing. He told Clark that if he could catch him, he would think about staying with him in Smallville. Clark did his best to catch him, but was unfortunately unable to as Flash bursts off with incredible speed, increasing it with every step. The look on Clark's face after being witnessed to that was priceless.

1. Onyx - Any Lex centred episodes are always exciting to watch especially with evil Lex in this. WOW MR just like in Shattered is great in this! This is actually probably my favourite episode of entire series in terms of individual performance. It was chilling to watch with an inspired performance by MR to go along with that famous line: "I am the villain of the story!" Brilliant!

2. Commencement - My favourite season finale of entire series.

5. Blank - for me this is an underrated episode. The whole clark losing his memory thing and how he deals with it was intense when u first watch it. It's still great to watch. Lex for the first time really uses Clark to find some information. That was also fascinating to watch.

Spirit - Martha dancing and singing so funny, also the little moment between Clark and Lois is sweet, where he wants to dance with her awww. But i loved the reaction from lois when he walks off to lana. Its the first sign that Lois is falling for Clark but may never get a chance with him....

This season was one of big up and downs, kind of like a roller coaster for me. I thought that the season premiere was pretty good (but not up to par with the previous three), then it had a great series with "Run," "Transference," and "Jinx." I didn't really dig the storyline about the witches and stones, so the show kind of went off-kilter for me for a while. It really hit its stride again with episodes 17-19 ("Onyx," "Spirit," and "Blank"), though, and "Commencement was absolutely awesome -- the best season finale I've ever seen. Those are my favorites, and there are a few others, like "Krypto," which are okay. OH, and how could I forget "Pariah?" I LOVED that episode, too.

I know a lot of people don't like season 4 because of the Lana-witch thing (I don't like that part either) and her alleged importance regarding the stones, but this is my favorite season (along with the first half of season 8, that is). The reason's I liked this season so much are:

Clark/Kal-el flies and looks real good doing it
Chloe finds out Clark's secret
Jensen Ackles
Clark is not mooning over Lana and actually seems happy
Lana has another boyfriend other than Clark
It is a happier season than other's before it
