For me I'd have to say that the only true standout episode (besides the Pilot and Tempest) is Stray. I liked how it was unique in the sense that the Freak of the Week was someone Clark was trying to help, not defeat. I was really glad when Ryan showed back up in season two.

My favorite season 1 episodes are:

1) When Clark saves Lex on The Pilot by giving him, CPR. They become friends.

2) Metamorphosis: Even though Whitney tied Clark up as a scarecrow, Clark rescues him from a fiery car accident.

3) On Shimmer, I liked the part when Clark & Lana almost kissed, until Nell came along and said, "Clark, do you have the time?" Clark also came to Victoria's rescue on Shimmer.

4) I liked Stray when Martha takes home a little boy; too bad he wasn't adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Kent (Clark and Ryan would have made wonderful brothers).

5) Drone: Clark rescues his mother from the swarming bees, and even though Sasha wasn't nice, Clark saves her, anyway.

These are my favorite Season 1 episodes. I will treasure them!

1. Rogue - one of the best of entire series. So much suspense when you first watch and never loses its magic. Cant get enough of it. Always an episode I go back to watching in Season 1.
