Similarities with existing heroes

Since I've started watching (all of 4 days ago), I can't help but notice similarities to other fictional super-powered beings. Such as:

Micah: Forge

DL: Kitty Pride

Nikki: Hulk maybe? (going by the idea that when she gets mad, a strong alternate personality emerges)

Peter: Sync (from Generation X years ago)

Claire: Wolverine


Yeah, I know; superheroes have been around for about 70 years, so there are bound to be some overlaps so I don't think it's a concious effort by the writers to copy/coincedentally have the same ideas. I guess I just like saying "oh, that's just like..." every time a new Hero shows up. :)
Anyone thought of other similarities?

I'd say from what we know so far:

Peter Petrelli: Rogue (without the touch), as well as having clairvoyance thru dreams almost like Captain Marvel.

Sylar: Parasite. Absorbs powers from others. Also Vril Dox (son of Brainiac), learns how things work w/ accelerated learning. Also Clark Kent (earth 3 super twisted nerdy version) when wearing glasses.

Jessica/Nikki: I agree, lol Hulk is perfect. The split personalities. One comes out when she's angry as hell!

Matt: Jean Grey. Presently limited to one-way telepathy-only hearing other people's thoughts<empathy.

Micah: Cable. Technopath- ability to manipulate technology. Possibly could be like sylar and learn how things work efficiently.

Hatian Dude: Leech (from X-Men). Ability to negate or cancel powers. Just as he did with Eden and Mr. Bennet.

Mr. Bennet: No known abilities, but what if he's finding these mutants with a power like Caliban from X-Men.

Claire Bennet: def. Wolverine although there are lots of characters with rapid healing but they suck.

Hiro: Sway from Marvel who's ability is time manipulation.

Nathan: Mr. Marvel

Eden: Mesmero; controlling action and reasoning of others.
