He Will be in an upcoming two-part cliffhanger, playing Hiro Nakamura's scheming father. That's all I know for now.

My source is from an interview with George, posted on the George Takei website.

My guess is we will probably first see him in the Nov. 27th (tonight) episode "Six Months Ago." :)

Sulu is so cool.

im not sure which episode he is in i think its after the break not sure. its in one of those episode centric spoilers. they also talkd about it on the soup i think. i think its intresting that they got him along with lost that they are having cheech marin as hurleys dad. there is no real connection but they were like big names in the 70s or whatever along with being popular with their cult following. im guessing there may be some winks to star trek. hiro seems like he would be a trekkie.

As awesome as that is, I think it's a little strange since Hiro and Ando are such big (or seemingly big) Star Trek fans. It's like being big Smallville fans and then having Tom Welling playing your brother... Anyway, I guess it doesn't really matter in the land of TV :p

Holy crap, does this mean Hiro's gay?

JK, still laughing at the Willam Shatner roast.. But that's actually kinda cool. One sci-fi icon and a future one as father and son. I like it.

LMFAO! George was funny as hell on the roast.
I hope you caught the "Secret Stash" version of the roast. It was completely un-edited. :rotfl:

01/18 - [George] Takei has filmed three episodes, with the possibility of more if the story allows it. In addition to appearing in scenes with Oka, he has also had scenes with Jack Coleman, who plays the mysterious Mr. Bennet, also known as Horn-Rimmed Glasses. "My last scene was with Horn-Rimmed Glasses," Takei said. "Yesterday, as a matter of fact. And, let me tell you. As I said, all my scenes are in Japanese. I did a scene with Jack Coleman. You take it from there. That poor guy." Source: Sci Fi Wire

From the commentary, Coleman (HRG) has to learn Japanese.
