Writers of Heroes

Not sure if this should be here or not, cause it IS Heroes related....anyways...I know some of the people that worked/works on Smallville also form part of the Heroes team from time to time, but did anyone notice that they are calling the Heroes writers "The Powers That Be".... yep you got it the our very own TPTB!

(saw it in issue #906 of Entertainment weekly with Heroes on the cover w/5 page spread)

so what do you think? I mean it's good they read da boards and stuff (I mean...where else could they get that name?!?!), but do you think they're stealing our net terminology from other shows? or is it just the fact that some people have worked/work on both shows and found it suitable to call the writers that way?

TPTB (the powers that be) is not a Smallville exclusive term. It's widely used to refer to any authority, such as the mods of a forum, the writers and directors of a TV show, and so on and so forth.

really? huh my mistake then, I had only heard it used on SV boards so I thought it was only a SV terminology for da writers :S my bad

i was watching regis and kelly today and they had Milo on and they were talking about how Regis' daughter is going to be a writer for season 2. She worked on the OC before hand and they made the joke season 2 of hiros will have a lot more making out lol. but anyway regis daught is going to be a new writer for the show.
