I just think the effects they have used to portray Claire are amazing!!! From the fall she took in the earlier episodes to being accidently killed by that quarterback. How about lying down with her chest wide open in that morgue?

in fact the whole effects have been good, Nathan flying was better than in Smallville imo.BTw wish that Claire had more interaction with her brother, he already knows she have a power after all!

i think its just cause in smallville they make it like a comic book type thing. i think in heroes they try to make it look more realistic as if anyone can do it. also heroes doesnt use the special effects showing us how the power is being used it just is.

anyway i think claires healing is a bit better then clarks cause hers kind of grows back together when clarks just kind of melts back.

yep, she's one of my favs almost since day one too :) I agree with you about that she have to stand by herself and stuff...but why alone? Clark Kent for example have almost the same issues like her but he always had someone to be at his side...Pete and Chloe i.e. Besides, I liked the interaction between Zach and Claire. It was fun to watch ;)

You're partly wrong...

Clark/Superman CAN and DOES heal super fast, as long as the wound inflicted isnt kryptonite or magic related.

If for some reason someone or something is powerful enough to wound Clark without kryptonite or magic(i.e. Doomsday), he will quickly heal. Its just that if a being is powerfull enough to wound Clark without kryptonite or magic, chances are they are powerful enough to continue to wound him faster than he can heal(again i.e Doomsday).

I like to think that Claire will find someone she loves. She cant be with Peter because that would make him a creep. So that lives Zach. Look at all the nice things he did for her, he obviously has feelings for her. He has only been accused of being gaye as of righth now. If they do make him gay it will be one of those moments where Claire gives him a kiss and he will be like "What the .....". Zach is not done with the show just yet, he appears in all the previews. We have to remember right now he is only doing a pilot for the John Conner show. He would be stupid to let this go on hopes that the pilot will get picked up. Even though it propably will; even if it is FX. Also you have to remember that he just signed on for the new show and production hasnt started yet. He still has time to film the second season of Heroes. At least enough for them to kill him off properly.

Spoiler warning... The spoilers that are now posted tell us that Claire recreates her freindship with Zach. So for now he is not gone. The previews also show us that Claire tells the Haitan that she wants to see Peter.

Speculation warning... I hope Claire and the Haitan run off to New York to see Peter. I think the drama created between Claire the Haitan and HRG would be great. I also think a good character to be killed next would be the Haitan. At the hands of HRG would be great! Giving him more of that love/hate feel.

Claire will never have super strenght like Jessica but i tought of something. Could she get like peak strenght if she work out. Could her healing factor allow her to build muscle up faster then the average person. Sure she won't life a car over her head but could she get strong enought to lift like 300bls over her head in a short amount of time. Her healing factor allow her muscles to heal faster which mean she would'nt have to wait 48 hours for her mucles to rest. What are you guys thoughts on this?

Yes, she could become peak strong, but it would probably be harder for her to break the muscles down in the first place than building them up. Since she heals. it is very hard for her muscles to get fatigued and thus break down, so she would have to be working herself to her limit for a couple of hours or so to actually gain any progress. That is why I think Wolverine is so short, his muscles wouldn't build up and grow like ours would because they don't breal down or anything like that. I doubt he is a dwarf.

Claire could also have the capacity for a good memory because of the regeneration of her brain cell's.

Before Sylar's attack put her regeneration ability into overdrive, Claire could have potentially strengthened her body to peak human strength level. However, at this current point I'd have to say it's very unlikely. Take Adam for instance. His ability didn't kick into full gear until he was killed when Hiro went back in time. From that point on, he stayed the same. He obviously had a childhood and grew to adulthood normally. Claire's premature ordeal with Sylar appears to have excalated her abilities to where they would have been after she matured over time. It was Angela Petrelli that stated: "We found that, over time, a being with regenerative abilities would become immortal."

Claire would naturally have total recall, which would give her an immeasurable capacity to retain vast amounts of information. Her abilites should make her immune to being able to become intoxicated, since her ability would naturally eliminate the poisons introduced into her system by drugs and alcohol. Since poisons are introduced into the system from physical exertion, such as running or strenuous excercise; Claire shouldn't even be subceptable to fatigue. However, she would need to sleep from time to time, more from psychological needs than the actual need to sleep. It remains to be seen how she would be affected if her head were separated from her body, however it's very likely she would regenerate a new body. Since it has not been confirmed if her ability just stems from the brain or is in her entire body; you have to wonder if the body itself would grow a new head and become another Claire. It's more likely that wouldn't be the case, since her little toe didn't become an entire organism after she cut it off.

If you compare Claire's ability to heal to muscular-dystrophy, then it might be possible for her to get strong. In MD, muscles tissue doesn't repair itself. Thus, weakness and atrophy result. Her condition is the exact opposite, so shouldn't she develop extra strength and muscle?

Being that building muscle involves the breaking down and regrowth of muscle tissue... normally would result in extra bulk. However, since Claire's body instantly repairs itself to its original state its very unlikely.

I thought of another possiable benefit of Claire powers. You know how when your a baby and when your younger you can learn langauge easier. It had me thinking. There's something in our barins we lose as we enter our teens but with a regenrating healing factor Claire would always have this part of her Brain. Maybe she can learn things alittle faster then the average person. I always knew you could do more then heal skin with a healing abillity. Claire such an airhead she probably don't know she could do this.
