The way I see it, TPTB can kill Lana off and she'd still be a main character on this show. Unfortunately, every single Clark/Lex conversation from now until the end of the show will be about Lana to some degree no matter what happens.

I hate the fact that she appears to hava different boyfriend for every season... She's not 'that' pretty... Honestly, Chloe is far more prettier...Ehem...Sorry, I overreacted... off course, I'd like to see her learn to be happy alone... :P

right, because you only get many boyfriends if you're pretty. :rolleyes:

Lana has only been in a relationship with Whitney, Clark, Jason & Lex. Four Boyfriends at 19 is not that much.

I chose "Learn to be happy alone." Once she can do that, then maybe her scenes with love-interests won't be so painful to me.

Lana needs a man-break. She has some trust & abandonment issues to work out befrore she can be in a healthy relationship.

Lana needs to feel that she can trust herself and the decisions she makes. And I think for that to happen, she has to fly solo for awhile. She needs to have her own goals and plans that have nothing to do with a guy or meteor showers or aliens IMHO.

But at the rate things are going, I don't think that will happen for Lana anytime soon................

I think that if she dies (and I'm betting my money she does), Clark and Lex will continue talking about her.

All Lana has ever done is hop from one guy to the next and back again. And then have the nerve to quickly jump from best friend or ex bestfriend to the next. That is a major no-no. Her dating habits are downright disgusting. And 4 *serious* boyfriends by her age IS a lot. 4 boyfriends that she dated just barely or casually a few dates, would be nothing at all, but that is not how it is. And she has no self identity, so she has to absorb something from every guy she is with. She is one of those women that can never NOT have a boyfriend. She doesn't know how to be her own person or be happy alone for a while. It's like OMFG I can't be single or I will die!!! She also does NOT know how to take care of herself. She always relies on someone else to 'house and feed her' so to say. Disgusting.

I know it sounds strange, but after yesterday I am seriously considering switching from Chlark to shipping Lexana. I mean, they're really in love, I like it...

With Lex :) At least Lexana ties her in with the storyline for the big three.

If Lana did have her own seperate storyline about finding herself, people would then complain about that having nothing to do with the Superman myth, and Clark and Lex's journey. There was very little interest in the Henry Small plot from season 2, and questions over why we were wasting time on the Adam romance around the time of Asylum. And well season 4's disastorous attempt to tie Lana in to the storyline away from Clark or Lex, pretty much speaks for itself.

IMO Lana works best when her role is with either Lex or Clark, because giving her individual storylines by herself are just dull. (The episode where Henry Small's wife confronts her was awful)

I like the Grim Reaper suggestion for both Lex and Lana. Just kill both characters off (let Lionel take over Lex's place as Superman's main baddie) and save us from having to sit through their sappy, dreary romance.

She should marry Kalibak and move to Apokalypse, although she might be a bit too evil for Darkseid´s taste, he is after all a concerned father in law.

That would be the best course of action if Darkseid returns Lana cause even he has a limit for evilness. I think Lex without lana could work, although I prefer the MB.

..leave town. Thats what I really want for the Lana character. Not death. Not a new romance, an old romance, the present romance, or any romance. I want her to get an exit befitting the importance she's had to the show so far. Definitely respect. But I really do believe her character is more detrimental to the show now then a benefit. Let her be the character that both Clark and Lex loved and lost (*gag*), and then let her go off to have a life. Off screen. IMO

BadToad is right. She doesn't have to die but it would be GREAT if she left. The things they have Lana doing now is just ruining almost all aspects of SV for me. I can't hardly stomach another Lexana scene. Maybe she should die because the crap is killing me.

Now she loves Lex sooo much now. and what's worse..Now she has Lex whining like she had Clark whining.
She needs to be alone for at least one season.

I'm so sick of a whiney Lana and I'm SO sick of her and Lex. He being pregnant with Lex's baby is absolutely rediculous in my opinion, but I would really like to see her happy by the end of the series. I'm hoping Pete will come back and they'll hook it up. :)

Lana definately needs to learn to live for herself and not defining herself by being the object of someones affections. Her entire existence on this show since the begining has been primarily for this purpose. After the first couple years it started to be a real detriment to the character but now that we're almost half way through year six its simplely ludacris and now a severe detriment to the show as a whole.

I am wondering with the headaches, and such a dangerous boyfriend as Lex, add in being pregnant with a baby that no one seems to understand how it fits in, if she might end up worse than dead. I see her being in a coma, after losing the baby, somehow being Lex's fault but he will blame it on some Superman, completing his total turn to evil. Lana will become a veggie so Lex will hate Superman, even though it is his fault.

That is the real reason I believe he hates superman, because Superman has actually bested him. I forgot what word is used for people like that people who just can't stand to lose.

Though its possible since this Lex and the Comic Lex are totally different.

At season 4 I wanted her to be alone and happy. I was truly hoping Lana could be somewhat tolerable as a character but I have lost all hope...I'd rather have her dead.
