LOL, Lexana are clearly sharing a bedroom now, so why did he knock on the door and then chastise her for being awake?! I would have told him "Because you knocked on the door and woke me up!" :rotfl:

I guess TPTB forgot that they spent an entire episode on Lana not sleeping in the same bed as Lex and at the end, finally making that move into his bed.

That was a little bizarre for me too. First, I thought, ok, he's being a gentleman, but when you're living with your bf, he usually doesn't knock the door before entering the room. lol

maybe he didn't want to walk in on her...

If Lexana still had seperate bedrooms then Lex's knocking would have been very gentleman like. But they clearly are sharing a room since their "sexana" in Wither. Lex has "seen" all there is to see, lol, there is no reason to get shy now. ;)
The strangest part of that scene is Lex seems upset that Lana is awake..... because it's not like knocking on the door would have woken her up or anything..... We know she was awake before that, but Lex doesn't!

Yeah I thought that was pretty weird too. The lights were off, the room was quiet so I think it would be safe to assume that Lana were asleep. And then he comes in and starts booming in his "daytime voice." What's that about? LOL.

Well, of course he knocked, so she would wake up. Then he can say:'...why are you still awake?'
Man, that guy is clever. Evil genius Lex.

Bad writing again!
The whole knocking set up is probably more the directors fault then the writer. Lex could have just slunk in and started getting ready for bed - quietly - and noticed Lana was still awake and that scene would have worked just fine.

You know she was like trying to get to sleep so he was probably checking to see if she was up. If it had been in the middle of the day I'm sure he would have walked right in.

I agree. This is all I got out of it. I think this scene made it clear they don't share a bedroom yet, just because they had sex before now. He clearly had been out or working late into the night and was surprised to find she was awake.
But then, I thought, of course she's awake with the amount of light coming in from the hallway through those annoying glass doors and that Lex knocked loudly. Who would want a bedroom with glass doors?

And why exactly was lana wearing make up?? If she'd forgotten to remove it before it wouldn't have looked like that.

Because everybody wears their make-up to bed in tv and movie land! Duh! The make-up even still looks pretty when they get up in the mourning.

Most likely it was premanent spray-on make up. Manufactured by Luthorcorp, enhanced with meteor-rock... I mean, why else would Lana behave the way she does...?

Her complexion is perfect. Don't you guys remember "Wither"? ;)
No, seriously, I think Lex knock cause he wanted to wake her up and talk to her or something.

who is dating, lives in the same house, has sex together, and are at a point where your ready for a proposal, but don't share a room? That just seems weird to me. or are they just in seperate rooms because they have been having soom problems lately and a working things out. thats' what the whole coversation was about in the first place. maybe that's why he knocked too just to try and respectful of her because they were having problems. I don't why he would ask why she was up after he knocked though because of course she would wake up when he knocks.
