Are people too blinded by their hatred of Lexana to see the merits of this episode?

All these threads whining about Lana and Lexana, they grate on you. Did people miss 33.1 being explained on the show? Did they forget that Martian Manhunter was freaking awesome? Did they miss Lionel telling Chloe off for her usage of Meteor Freaks and deleting the LuthorCorp files from her computer? How about Lionel asking to be in league with Lex on the 33.1 project? The MB returning?

True, the episode was Lexana-centric, but all of the things inter-woven with the Lexana A-plot made an otherwise decent episode shine. Are we really going to sit around brooding about Lexana like Clark used to mope about Lana, or are we going to look at the good things on the show and enjoy them?

I liked the episode a lot, though there was a distinct lack of Clark, I could deal with that.

The whole sappy "I don't care what secrets you hold, I still love you crap" is what bothered me. It just seemed a bit... out of place and sudden. Plus, Lex is NOT the evil, evil man he's supposed to become. -_-

I don't think I am blinded by lexana.
I loved the Martian Manhunter.
I loved clark jumping.
I loved the oreos.
I loved Jimmy and chloe doing the scooby doo figuring things out and saving lex.
I just don't like lexana.
Lexana never happend in superman mythology and it just turns my stomach.

Are you forgetting where most of the screentime came from? It came from Lana and Lexana. Yes, 33.1 was interesting but I don't need to hear it explained to Lana, I need to get a scene where we actually see it. It was a nice setup, and I will like it more later on when it will be featured, but this episode was tainted with too much lexana and yes, the crappiness of that totally overpowered the episode. Thankfully you didn't mention Batista in the above post, because he had all of 70 seconds screentime.

The entire list? You mean the four things you listed? Then yes, it does, along with Clark getting thrown around like a weak ling.

I thought there were some very interesting moments. For one thing, Clark was working on his own....that's always a good thing. Lionel is back to being Lionel and Level 33.1 was re-introduced. All good stuff, plus Martian Manhunter...ya!

I thought this episode was pretty good, but then again I actaully like Lexana. :D

There were some entertaining twists this episode, but some fell flat. Like the Clark/Chloe tiff in the loft and the weak battle between Clark and, well, whatever his name was.

The Clark and Chloe converstation in the loft was total artifice. Nothing more than a lame attempt at creating a short lived schism between them and utterly transparent.

Another weak battle for Clark, but his self directed Scoobying was nice to see, as was the Jimmy and Chloe chemistry. I think the episode tried to do a bit too much with both a Meteor Freak and a Zoner.

The re-introduction of 33.1 to the show was great and we know it's going to play a part later this season.
