I'm suprise they left this in there,it was brutal yes but it fit the character.If we r to believe he is so bad then havin him rip out the spine was a nice touch.I'm jus suprise they actually showed it sad they didn't show more of batista or clark this episode.Would have been great

it would have been better i think, for the easily-nauseated viewers and for better dramatic effect, if the camera had focused on the surface of a cargo crate that depicted Batista's and the hapless cop's shadows. Batista does a backbreaker on the cop, and throws him down. We hear the cop struggling to go for his gun that he dropped. Batista lets out a war cry and slams his fist down. Blood splatters across the cargo crate's surface as the poor cop screams. Fade to black, cut to commercial. It'd be a totally pulse-pounding moment, but without all the nasty visuals. Sometimes the implied is much scarier than the explicit.
