Wasn't it great to see Clark on the job, investigating, and taking advantage of a situation intelligently? I can definitely see shades of Clark Kent, investigative journalist, in him.

It's kind of random that he's there, though, isn't it? I wish they showed us how he knew what was going on there and stuff.

Who cares if he's not really a first year med student? Or smart enough to? He actually used his brain instead of knocking someone out with his finger and going about his business. That's progress.

On this show I see him using more of his brain than powers now. I would prefer more of the powers back, but keeping the brain up there as well. Maybe it's a budgeting thing. We'll see.

One one hand that was cool to see Clark use his brain like that, but on the other hand, he was completely brain dead when it came to fighting Batista. He couldn't use any of his powers like x ray or super hearing to find the guy? I hated that.

I have to agree . Clark pulled a Chloe on them. It seems this grasshopper is learing. Now if she could just teach him to fight;)

Totally agree. Couldn't he put up a fight before he almost got killed and needed to be saved?

I was glad to see clark doing some work for once. I really like Chloe and like to see them work together. But, it was good to see Clark is willing to do something for his self.

I thought it was funny that the cop actually believed he was the couriner. Clark is definately not old enough looking. LOL that was great.

Chloe's list of things to teach Clark:
1) How to make fights last longer than a minute. Although Smallville probably has the most realistic fight sequences ever because I've rarely seen a fight last longer than 5 minutes max in real life.
2) How to use Google.

Wow! Clark actually pulled off an impersonation

His 2 impersonations (med student & cop) and his refusal to search for Lex and instead go after Batista were the only things I liked about Clark's storyline.

 sad but true I thought it was cool he picked up the badge seemed like sumthin chloe would do smh.But him fightin this season doesn't suprise me since we were told the zoners would be more powerful,so far he's gettin manhandle. But at sum point he has to fight back atleast throw a punch. He tried tonight but batista caught it and threw him smh,I really wish they showed more wit those 2,cause that had potential to be a great fight,

Well to give Clark credit, he did try to throw a punch against Batista. However, it was blocked. Anyone else enotice that Clark took the whole day to find Batista and then have like 10 seconds against him?

The fight scenes have to last longer, it seems theres just more and more talkin in each episode now n not enough action

Because this isn't an action show, maybe? It has Clark Kent/superpowers, so there will be some action, but when hasn't it ever been an action-oriented show?

Never has been. Every episode is mostly Chloe, Clark or someone else investigating something and at the climax- a minute or so of action. Nothings changed there.
