Has anyone else seen them this year? I saw them in Detroit it was a great show with tributes to layne all night. But the singer sounds like were listening to a AIC cover band. And if that was the case they should have had Sully from godsmack sing a few shows. After all godsmack was an AIC cover band before getting huge.
But with Sully on tour with GS it wouldn't happen, but I can still wish for it though.
Overall it was still a great show but I'm a little iffy on the singer.

So, who is the new lead singer? They definitely need to get someone that sounds a LITTLE like Staley. I can't imagine reforming AIC without Layne. That's blasphemy!

They were around my area not too long ago and I missed them. I think it would have been an amazing show.

Willham DuVall is the lead singer for the group. He was pretty good here in Detroit you can find some of their stuff up on youtube. Just go there and search for alice in chains 2006 to see them with the new singer. And for fun type in godsmack with skool and you'll see Sully from godsmack singing some AIC covers (would, man in the box) with some europe band. Skool's singer sux but they let Sully sing alone after the first line.
