When did knife like headaches become a sign of pregnancy?

And fainting 3 times, seems odd seeing how you have to really not take care of yourself to actually faint, from http://www.womens-health-questions.com

A common early sign of pregnancy is that you may feel faint when you have gone a while without eating. This is due to low blood sugar, because that is your baby's main source of food. You want to eat frequent, healthy snacks to keep your blood sugar up. Stock up on portable lunch box foods you can take with you. Such as apples, bananas, grapes, yogurt cups, carrots and celery, cheese and crackers, small cartons of milk, juice boxes, granola bars, boxes of raisins, etc.

So Lana fainting 3 times is out of the norm.

And nowhere on that site does it talk about headaches.

Maybe Lana confusing pregnancy with a brain tumor or something!

Or TPTB are that stupid that they don't know how to write early signs of pregnancy! :rotfl:

Every woman is different, and actually fainting and headaches are very common- I would know. :)

It was sure implied that she is pregnant. But having watched this series since day 1, we might find out she is going through something else.

I've had many friends who had babies and my sister inlaw had two babies and none of the above had headaches.

Feeling faint, yes. Actually fainting more then once? No.

I just looked around and I there's no site that said early signs of pregnancy includes headaches.

And I understand every women is different.

Hence why I looked around before I even posted this, since I know my friends and my sister inlaw don't sum up every woman!

Eh, it's cool, but you really can't learn about that kind of thing from online stuff, you just have to experience it. I've only fainted twice in my life, and both times I was newly pregnant. I didn't have headaches, but since having them all of the time was normal for me, I guess not having them while preggo was the unusual thing.

I doubt there's any other kind of condition that she needs to worry about since she went to the doctor and he ran tests and everything.

My point exactly.

The fainting may not be all that questionable since I know it's somewhat common.

But the knife like headaches?

*shrugs* My sister in law had migraines. They could have used a more recognizable symptom like nausea or something though.

Ha, though the migraines could just be coming from dealing with the stress of her life lately.

I have had friends that had migraines during pregnancy. I have had friends who no longer got migraines during pregnancy. I have felt faint during the early stages of pregancy, but I never dropped like a load of bricks like Lana did and I weigh alot more than she does. (normally you feel faint and you manage to make it to a chair to sit down, and/or you ask for a cold drink. ) I never had it come on in 3 seconds like Lana, I had some warning.

On another thread, I said, it looked like they were making it look like she had a brain tumor or all her concussions were finally catching up to her. Guess they haven't had many women who have been pregnant working for the show.

I can only speak for myself, but I felt more sick to my stomack that made me feel dizzy but I never fainted. I was taken to the hospital a few time. I never started to have headaches until i was in to my 2nd trymester (tenion headaches) they start at the base of your neck and work it's way up. hope this isn't too long for my first post

Maybe it's perfectly normal for someone carrying Zod's child...

Maybe it's just her body's way of warning her to quit getting so stressed out everytime something doesn't go her way!

Was that during early or mid/full term?

See to me that's more like dizziness, not falling on the floor Lana fainting. :p

Yeah, I kinda scratched my head when I realized these weren't very common symptoms. But I wouldn't really know.

There is a chance that there could be some contection to Zod. may once Clark find out that Lana is PG that he use his X-Ray vision to look at the baby and finds something different about it and figures out that having lex"s baby may kill her. I think this should go to a diffent thread I'm new at this

Firefly you are so full of crap. My wife is laughing so hard at your post. SHe is a OBGYN for last 10 years. PLease don't post crap to make your point. Learn to lie better. What a fool. You must be really young and lonely. Poor thing......Plus also to the genius who wrote that the signs pointed to her being pregnant. Watch the show again, buddy. You don't need signs. She actually says that she is pregnant to Chloe.

Faint yes. Fall 3 times like your heart exploded, NO. Ridiculous. The writers are such idiots. HONESTLY>>>>>Well, just when I thought the ratings could not get worse. Boy oh boy was I wrong......

she might have something else besides being pregnant...like a developing brain tumor. We don't know what the writers are up to.

have to say that I am completely shocked that you people still watch the show. Join me an d the other millions of previous fans and stop watching this disgrace to superman. This is what happens when you have geeks writing a plot out. Has anyone else seen these two guys and the rest of the staff. Check them out on the DVD collection. It will open your eyes to reality. The last straw for me, even after the years of stupidly dragging out the (should I tell Lana my secret or not crap), is the Lana and Lex stuff. How pathetic can you get. It makes absolutely no sense. It is actually quite retarded if you think about it. Clark and Lana just slept together for the first time to lose both of their virginities. This whole big speech how they were saving it for each other. Then a couple weeks later she's banging someone else, Lex no less. Does anyone else see the ignorance here. The ratings for the show are some of the worst ever over the last couple years because you can only milk something for so long before people lose interest. The majority of fans have bailed on the show. The only reason the ratings are up a little right now because people were excited about some new stuff this season but now they are dropping fast because it is the same crapping writing. Jesus these people have no idea what the pulse of the public is. LANA and Lex give me a break. MORONS>>>>> If you guys want some good writing to come to the show, then stop watching for a little bit and when they see the ratings fall even further the writers will stop screwing around and find their heads and actually write something that makes sense. The viewer always has the power. Remember that people. The ratings are crap. The only people who watch now are 50% loyal zombies who don't care if superman turns out to be a flaming homosexual. They will still watch because they are complete idiots. The other 50% are completely new people tuning in to see what the show is all about. This is where they say " Wow this show has been on for how long? Why? It is retarded!!!!!!!!!!!!" Well can you blame them?

Guess you have join the Zombie ranks. Don't worry, human flesh tastes good with ketchup. :p
