I thought "Rage" was going to be mostly about Green Arrow. While it had a lot to do with him, reading all these posts, you would think most people got something else from this episode. I believe it seemed to be more about relationships that GA's rage and fury while on drugs. I hoped it was going to be more about his emotions.

They should've stuck with Indestructible. Any episode in the series could be named Rage since someone is always raging.
Plus, when I think Thanksgiving, I don't think of angry people.

Exactly. There was even what would have been an episode title shout-out. Ollie and Clark are talking about how Ollie isn't "indestructible" like Clark.

I don't know if it's been confirmed why they changed the title, but I suspect that if they haven't said why yet, it might have something to do with wanting to save "Indestructible" as a title for a Clark episode.

I agree. I think the titles should always refer to Clark in some way. Clark had no rage in this episode. They should have had him walk in on Lionel and Martha. Then we would have seen some Rage. LOL!
But Indestructible was the perfect title for this episode. Guess it has too many syllables.

Seeing as how this episode was based around Thanksgiving, maybe they could've named it "Thankful", which would've made plenty of sense considering how appreciative Oliver was to Clark at the end.

How about POSITIVE as in:
1. Clark will barf when he hears the big L.L. almost kissed his Mom.
2. Lana Lang pregos.
3. Lois is not even half the reporter Chloe is at this point.
4. That text Jimmy sent was meant to go to Britney Spears.
5. Clark is right, thankful for what, no real freak of the weak.

I liked the title Rage better.
Indestructible really wouldn't have made sense, because GA wasn't indestructible. The drug could only be adminsitered after the would be user was wounded. Therefore, if hurt in the right way, GA would still die very easily. Just look at Lex in this ep. Lex passed out after he was shot and wasn't able to take the drug even if he wanted to, so if Clark wasn't there to give it to him, it would have done no good.
Plus, there was plenty of Rage in this ep. Clark was all "ragey" about not being thankful for anything in the begining. Oliver was ragey about everything, lol. And Lana was ragey about her pregnancy - in between moping about it, but hey, hormones! :D

My guess is the episode was called "Rage" because the drug Oliver was taking affected the amygdala - the supposed aggression section of the brain....but you're right, there was more focus on other issues that weren't specifically related to rage. If we could change the title of the episode, I think I might call it 'Regret', that to me seemed to be the main theme.

I think the whole episode was about 'love' and the lack thereof - and the results of how both played a huge part in shaping the characters into who they are.
Clark have his speech, giving thanks to his parents for the love they poured into him and shaping him into the super-man that he is. Everyone at that table (except Lois) knew his secret and how much of a compliment he paid his parents.
On the opposite of that you have Lana and Lex, who both didn't receive a whole lot of love growing up - and therefore shaping them into who they are.
The Kents had a warm, cozy, loving Thanksgiving setting, while Lex and Lana set at a long, lonely, cold table.
