Question about Chlark.

I have a question for all you Chlarkers out there. [Edited Out, mod note: people on this site are allowed to have their opinion, so please refrain from insulting them, just because they agree with something that you don't ] This question is for the Chlark fans who believe that Chloe is Chloe and just want to see Clark and Chloe hook up.

My question is WHY? do you want it so bad? Because if you don't believe in that garbage that is Chlois then Clark and Chloe eventually have to break up because he ends up with Lois in canon (50+ years or so, don't argue that one).

Why would you want two friends to go through an awkward break up when things are perfect as they are.

PS This is meant to be a friendly thread for people to help me understand where they are coming from so leave the Lois bashing to one of the other threads. There are at least four or five of them.

Actually, as someone who is Chlark neutral (and Clois neutral...though after this episode, I'm feeling rather anti-Clois)...you either get it, or you don't. From your main post, I don't think you are really open to understanding it.

And for the record, not every breakup is awkward, or unfriendly.

You're right about that but in my experience every breakup is at least awkward. Especially when you were really good friends before hand.

I agree,not every breakup ends badly,plus I agree it seems as tho sum jus wont understand no matter what.Sum anti's not all think that chlark means chlois or think chlarkers r chlois but r not.So sumtimes it cloggs their judgement of certain scenes,but as far as answerin the question...
I think I root for them because on the show they've been builtup as the underdog.The show seems to base its main ship around clana,so chlark is the ship that interest me cause I feel as tho its so obvious on their feelings.Doesn't mean that its true or not but that's how I see them,they seem to fit perfectly and their friendship is a sign of that imo.As for rootin for them knowin it wont last,well another reason is because nothin is final/in stone to say that clois has to happen on sv.We all know/agree that tptb have changed things too much(Lois/lex meetin clark so early without glasses etc).So imo tptb could change who the main ship is by the series end.Lois wasn't always wit clark in every comic,stories have changed yes,and tptb r good wit changin things.So imo they could buildup clana thruout the whole show wit signs of chlark and then have chlark end the show.The one thing they seem to really focus on now imo for lois is her leanin towards journalism/clark acceptin his destiny.But I've seen nothin to imply that they'll be a couple except a few remarks here and there that WE the audience knows will happen.But as far as characters go why shouldn't they,they r the only couple at this moment that makes sense.And Even tptb joke about it durin the splinter commentary like why won't they cause they kno they r perfect for each other.So I understand why u may ask that and I would prob agree wit u if tptb hadn't changed so much now.But since they have I feel as tho chlark will be a couple before the series ends,if not the couple to get together at the series ends(While still makin her chloe).Cause tho lois is his future this isn't about his future its about his present at the moment.And at the moment chloe makes sense,or atleast since lori isn't here(I didn't forget u shy :D ).So imo chlark jus makes more sense but hey that's jus me.Hopefully that answers ur question sumwhat,long but hey :D

True but that's only from ur past experience,we dont kno how these 2 may react.I mean sum could argue that they dated in s1/broke up in s2 yet they made it thru before.If it doesn't work it doesn't work,but atleast give them a fair chance to see.If they have feelings for each other(Which I think they do)then at sum point they have to explore it.It may work it may not,we kno it most likely wont but they dont so in their minds what's stoppin them.Not the whole will they remain friends cause they've been thru too much already.Its more of them jus tryin to convince themself that the other isn't interested.Cause if Clark would have heard chloe say she wanted more in Zod he would have taken a chance.Jus as I believe if she hears about clark's feelings late in the season it'll cause tension wit chlimmy.Cause they both r surpressin feelings,but that doesn't mean it isn't there,or they shouldn't give it a try.So while we kno the final outcome they don't and it would make sense if they gave it a fair run like clana did in s5.But that's jus my opinion :D

Although with the way Clark acts, whether around Lana, Chloe, or Lois, does it seem like this person would be capable of having a meaningful relationship with ANYBODY right now? As is also pointed out, heck even Shelby seems to have left him!

You're right Jazzy. Its not even worth it... I just had enough. There are like six different threads bashing on Lois so I make a logical point about where a Clark/Chloe relationship will end up eventually, excluding the idea of Chlois and I get my post edited.

True wit the way they've buildup clark reaction to the ships,it seems like he could fit wit any of them at the moment.That's why I see them bein singles by the end of the season wit clark choosin to pursue one when he gets back in s7.But I still think it'll be chloe tho since lois will come much later.But ur right tho all the girls r bein played evenly so far when dealin wit clark,he hasn't express his likin out loud yet about any girl.So we can only assume who he has feelings for right now

O yea well I didn't see too many lois bashin thread tonight as usual.I agree there be alot at times,but tonight alot of ppl on both sides seem to like lois.I for one thought the loillie scene at the beginnin and definitely the end were cute.

Well after that kiss at the end of last season and the beginning of this one, we don't know if he has feelings for her or not.. maybe he is just stepping aside to let Chloe be with Jimmy.. unless he tries for a relationship with Chloe that is romantic, none of us can guess what he is thinking.. and for the record, I believe we ALL know that he ends up with Lois.. hello, we read the comics and know the myth but for us, Smallville is all about Clark becoming Superman.. Lois isn't needed..
