I agree. The show becomes darker, but not too many people think so.

I don't mind the show being dark, but having Lana pregnant doesn't make the show dark in a good way. The show ends up being any other show out there. This show should be about Clark and Lex, it shouldn't be about Lana and Lex and Lana should not be in the middle. Clark and Lex hate each other, or should I say Superman and Lex, hate each other not because of a girl, but because they have differing viewpoints on the world. You take all of that stuff out of the equation by having Lana stuck in the middle and used as a trophy and a rag doll.

It may not ALL be about Lana. Clark knows what Lex does, his secret experiments and the things he does to people. That's part of it, too.

The Show DOES and WILL get darker..and yes, Clark deffinitley knows what kind of guy Lex is by now..

I agree, but right now, if you notice, every single discussion that Clark and Lex have is about Lana. Even if they are discussing secret experiments in a greenhouse, it doesn't matter, it all goes back to Lana. That's why a lot of people are getting tired of the Clark/Lex scenes, which is a bad thing since they used to be the best scenes of this show. IMO, I miss the Aqua and Cyborg types of scenes where there is no girl involved, it's strictly about whatever Lex is doing that Clark doesn't agree with.

You're right..when Clark and Lex talk..or should I say argue it's usually about lana..which doesn't make the show darker per se, but just adds more angst to it, you know?

I agree also. Clark should just move on. But I don't even think Clark and Lana are friends anymore. I know he wants to protect her, but he can't save everyone.

Well I think the whole point is that Clark is not going to move on from Lana until the end of this show. Like it or not, this show is about Clark and Lana from a relationship standpoint. I just don't want that getting in the way of the Clark/Lex scenes. And if Lexana didn't get in the way of Clark/Lex and didn't interfere with how evil Lex is, I probably wouldn't mind the pairing as much to be honest with you.
