I guess it's just for effect...still annoying. You would think they'd stop wasting their money on glass furniture...especially Oliver, with his whole "rich people should give their money to the poor" thing...

So I wasn't the only one who noticed the abuse these glass tables are taking. Yeah, it is odd. I guess it's a good way to get people down for the count/give them minor injuries. Maybe they just can' t think of any other way to do that.

Also, Lionel fell and shattered a glass coffee table in the mansion when he got shot in 2-13 Suspect.
