I loved the whole Thanksgiving motif. And the scenes that showed the two extremes that the show has gone to, Lionel Luthor at dinner with the Kents and friends, having a good family feast. Then Lex and Lana, sitting at far ends of the table from each other, having a Thanksgiving dinner that was just so out of place for the Holiday, seeming like strangers to each other even though she is carrying his child.

I was wondering why they were sitting so far away.

It seems to be a staple when showing rich people on TV that they have to have a dinner table that is way too big causing their dinners with loved ones to seem cold and uninviting. It's fitting for Lex, especially.

i think the main purpose for how ridiculously long the table was to symbolically show the growing distance in Lana and Lex's relationship

the ending ruined the beautiful scene before of the Kents house.

I don't think so. The contrast was great.

The ending was great. But, that table Lana and Lex were sitting at was SO long. I just kept imagining Lana being like *screams* "LEX.....PASS THE SALT!!!!!". I got a good laugh out of it, though I do see the symbolism in showing how "far" from each other Lex and Lana are.

I loved the ending!! Everyone at the Kent house was soo nice and sweet. :D And when Clark said how thankful he was of his mom and dad, I got all choked up. TW delievered that perfectly! And I felt bad at first for Chloe when she looked sad, but then she picked up her phone and she smiled really big. That was soo CUTE!! :D :D Gotta love the Chimmy!! ;) And the Lexana scene at the end was very symbolic, I thought, of how they've grown apart from each other. Awesome ending to and awesome episode. :)

the ending was great writing.
showing the contrast of the kent house vs. lexana house.
clark clearly maturing.
clark clearly specifing, my mother and my father, cut to lionel who put his head down.

I loved the ending. Really showed how alone and awful Lana was, in comparison to last holiday's episode, "Lexmas," where she was at the nice party with all of her friends, getting affection.. in comparison to being in a cold relationship with Lex, isolated.

..

Oh well, have fun, Lana! :)

Maybe I just misread the scene, but I really got the same vibe from Clark that I got at the end of Wither. He still seems so alone, even when he was surrounded by all those who are "close" to him.

I immediately thought that too. But I think the table in Batman was much longer than the one Lex has.

It's funny how 1 year can make a huge difference. I wonder where Lana will end up this time next year?

I loved the contrast of the warm loving Kent thanksgiving to the cold and ugly thanksgiving Lex and Lana were having. It was a great contrast imo.

Clark looked very much the "head of the household" on that one.

Hopefully that is a good sign.

I hated Lionel at the kent dinner table. Poor Jonathan, he was spinning in his grave. And he's right!!!

I loved the ending. It almost made up for the Lana stupidly being impregnated by lex. Lana do you like the path you chose? A few years ago Lex could of been at that table.

I to loved the ending. I also felt like Clark was unhappy, almost like he was missing something. It could be a whole bunch of things, but since TPTB won't tell us, I'll go with my theory that he was missing lana, the way he was thinking to himselve, to me it looked like he was thinking of lana, it could be his dad or anyone else will never really know.

and I too loved the ending for haunting scene, and almost out of place, and if you do look closely when Lex held up his glass he was smiling, and right before he took the first drink, you can see a change in his expression, its was very bried and spilt-second thing. Creepy, he may already know that lana is pregrant, because well he spies on everyone in his life.
