Was this the first Thanksgiving episode? I can't recall any others. It was cool to see another Holiday themed episode.

The Kent dinner was nice, a little weird, but nice. The Lexana dinner, was what I was expecting...something elegant, but also cold.

The Kent feast was oddly upbeat... Ollie's fake slo-mo laughter and all.

I liked the Thanksgiving but I found it odd Lionel sitting next to Chloe considering their history. It was cute though when Chloe got that text message from Jimmy and smiled.

CLARK: "So, my dad's dead, and I want to uphold his legacy by sharing what we are thankful for, I am thankful for my parents, of which one has just died."
(Everyone else ignores clark, talks, eats, and text messages merrily)

 hehe. it was cute.
yeah I thought it was funny his fake laugh. They should make him a regular on the show just for clark to have a guy friend he needs somebody besides Chloe

I thought it was so funny how Lois was looking at Oliver, Martha was looking at Lionel and Chloe was looking at her cell phone
That made me laugh for like...10 minutes

Ollie's slow mo laugh kinda scared me. He looked pretty crazy and it was out of nowhere. Lol.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that strange.
Also, given Clark's lead-in I thought the tradition was that everyone present expressed what it was they were thankful for, and not just the person carving the turkey.
All about Clark

Oddly enough, I thought Clark was truely happy. He has people in his life to share his life with, even though he doesn't have a love interest. It seemed resigned, but happy. Good for him in seeing the glass as half full.
And Lana, OMG how pathetic was that. That table was horribly long. It seriously felt like Lex and her don't have anything together, each in their own world, and Lana suffers quietly with her pregnancy.

I agree, at least Martha could have said what she was thankful for if no one else.
And yeah, Chloe sitting next to Lionel was a bit creepy as well.

Color me confused as well. Rather than move into that slow motion bit they could have played the music in the foreground and have everyone give their own thanks with the camera pulled back, surveying the scene. It would have made more sense. And bad Chloe for taking her cell phone to the table with her.

Yeah it was quite weird! Why did they clap for Clark's speech? And then no one said what they were thankful for... I guess they said it without words... Martha was thankful for the festive event. Lois and Oliver were thankful for eachother... Chloe was thankful for Jimmy and Lionel... Well Clark kind of put him in his place with the tribute to his mom and dad. LOL!
Weird. But nice and squishy too. :)

I was kinda upset that there has never been a thanksgiving episodde with Jonathan, lex, lana, Chloe and Pete. They would have deserved it. Now Lionel and Ollie?!? Ewww...

WHy do people think it was weird? It's a common tradition. ANd it was very sweetly expressed, heartfelt, and showed Clark growing up and accepting, as at first he was reluctant to, that his dad is gone and he's the man of the house and as such, begins the dinner by saying what he's thankful for and carving the turkey.

I thought it was odd that no one else declared whay they were thankful for, and yeah, to some degree Clark was just background noise to them (Chloe distracted by a text message when the head of the table is making a speech/toast).
And I also wonder why a Thanksgiving ep last night??? It's 2 weeks away, and yeah, I don't expect any more eps on turkey day through the new year. Maybe it's because they want next week to be a mid-season cliff hanger, I suppose.
Oh well, I'll wait until Christmas Eve to see "Lexmas" again ;)

I thought it was cool too, however, why wasn't this epi aired closer to Thanksgiving? Are we going to be SV deprived on Nov. 16th and 23rd. This is sweeps month. It's too early for reruns or bad movies aired in this time slot. :\
