I started watching halfway through the 2nd season, and it's been great up until this season. This whole season has just sucked.
Clark is barely even in the show anymore. Between Green Arrow and Lana, it's not even about the young Clark Kent anymore.

yeah, as decent as i think the show has been latley.......it's lost focus of clark.

true but the GA arc is almost over,it'll be more about clark in the 2nd half of the season.
Yeah. I'm not loving Oliver/Green Arrow and I've been bored with Lana for years now. I watch Smallville because I'm interested in Clark. Since the focus has been taken off of him I'm just not as interested this season as I have been in past seasons. It's reminding me a bit of season 4, which has been my least favorite season so far. But that was followed by my very favorite season (5), so I have high hopes that the show will get back like I want it to be eventually. I just wish it would hurry up and get there!

I think people make threads just for the hell of it or increase their post count. This is really ridiculous.

yeah it kind of weird that your done with the show, yet you still are coming on the forum, normally fans who really like the show spend their time posting, i'm just sayin'

i think this season is great! And i think the Green Arrow as a good addition to the Smallville world, things are more lively and fun. I know that it hasnt been 100% all about Clark, but i really have to admit i like the Green Arrow plots.
if there was a Green Arrow spinoff and Justin Hartly still Green Arrow, i def watch it!
Of course Smaville would still be my number one and Clark Kent.
idk how you could be close to be doing with this show, it only is getting better and growing even broader.

I thought it was very good episode. I loved clark's speech at the end around the table.
lexana is getting less screen time.
boy lois is so dumb about ollie and arrow.
I was so shocked about Martha and Lionel. boy that a little time.

I love this season so far but while this episode started out great, I think the remainder of it got a little weak. That is not nearly enough to spoil the season though.

At least I got to see lois get her butt kicked, nice to see her airborne. Maybe now she won't rush into dangerous situations knowing that she is neither invulnerable or undefeatable.
I've personally liked Green Arrow in Smallville its helped show Clark thats there more to the world than just Smallville even when ollie was being mean what he said was true. An I didnt see a problem with this episode it wasnt all about lana .. No Jimmy Thats great news :-) I can handle his text messages. If they replace him with Text Messages I'll like him a lot more.

this was not a bad episode.
the most important thing about the show is how to advance the superman mythology.
clark took a step during that meal to become a superman.

I agree, I can't stand the whole time Green Arrow and Lana is getting over Clark.
The show is about Clark and true, they can't focus on him all the time, but come on, screw the Green Arrow and TPTB for trying to convince the network to add a Green Arrow series.

it was a good filler episode, but overall once again if they continue to show a whiny Clark, a whoring Martha, freakin Green Arrow s.o.b. or the ever annoying lana pouting and crying over and over again, i'll break my tv or stp watching the show.
1) Lana needs to die, Lex needs to kill her to make the show interesting.
2) Green Arrow needs to go back to starcity, last time i checked this is SMALLVILLE, NOT STARCITY!
3) Martha needs to have menopause, soon. Is she dumb or TPTB are trying too hard to fit her in the show, shes fine the way she is, if you really need to hook her up with someone, please delay it a bit OR please atleast dont hook her up with the man who was behind her husbands death?!?!?!
4) once again, LANA IS PISSING ME OFF!!! baby or no baby, i think she needs to die, better yet, when shes just about to have the baby, freakin kill her due to some birth complications, thats if you cant make lex have the marbles to kill her.
