how did you feel about lois in tonights episode.
personaly i like lois in pretty much all the episodes she's in. she has a ceartin charisma that the other charachters just dont have. also she's the least angst ridden and that's a breath of fresh air for someone (like me) who can't stand tweenie angst.

How that now? It's been a long time since I've seen Tomb but form what I remember Lois was there for Chloe.

She was, with the exception that she believed her cousin to be a lunatic and wanted to have her sent to a mental hospital (where lunatics belong). That's not abandonment, that's common sense.
I like her in every episode.:D

No she didn't wanna do any lookin around wit clark, she automatically thought chloe was crazy like everyone else. And was ready to jus throw her in belle reeve,so u would think she would have been upfront then as she was tonight. She made it clear that if oliver had a prob she wouldn't turn her back on him and would be there, well in tomb she wasn't there at first for chloe. That's what I meant :D ,imo it showed growth in lois cause her decision tonight was diff from tomb

Lois has a nice upper body, but she really isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. She saw a man of about Ollie's height, build, and posture standing in Ollie's apartment as if he belonged there, dressed in a Green Arrow costume, after she had previously mentioned noticing Ollies occasional strange disappearances etc, but it never even entered her mind that the Green Arrow might be Ollie. No wonder she's later so clueless about Clark being Superman. This is an investigative reporter?

Lois didnīt know belle reeve as Clark does. She thinks her cousin needs help and Belle Reeve can help Chloe. Of course WE know that Chloe donīt belong to that place EVEN IF SHE ACTUALLY BECOME MAD, but Lois didnīt know.

lois was soooo hot that she couldn't even keep her panties on, much less wait for her future husband and 'soulmate4evah' ClarkMan Kent.
Still worthless after all these years.

I thought she was pretty good in the episode, They really nailed how she would react to Clark trying to protect her. I'm looking forward to the end of her and Ollies courtship though.

Yes I agree she didn't kno but she also knows that clark wouldn't do anythin that could hurt chloe,so if he was tellin her it wasn't safe to do then she should have listen. She was more concern wit him takin chloe from the hospital than anythin, and she knew that clark was tryin to help.So while she may not have known much about belle reeve she knew clark didn't trust it,and that should have been enough.

Well maybe that's why she assumes GA is oliver later on in hydro, because of tonight clues. So I wouldn't hold it against her, besides even chloe couldn't put 2 and 2 together.Everytime she'd say sumthin about oliver she'd mention sumthin of GA,and when she realize that the drug healed she have known also that he was shot or sumthin jus as GA.So I dont hold that against lois, plus I think this was a sign tonight to why she assumes Ga identity in hydro,if so then her bein clueless was necessary for now
Shes gotta get over that shes tough.. Its stupid an it was old the first time she was on sv.. We get it.. Now stop please.

Nah, you have that all wrong. She was about to stay up all night and make Oliver the most recent guy to get to know the real lowis.
I loved Lois in the ep. But I always love Lois in every episode she's in. :D

hey i am a red blooded american male who loves to see as much erica durance as anyone else.
But... I got 2 kids, age 10 and 12, I am huge fan of superman growing, and I want to see the episode without them kissing/moaning the way they did.
Sorry its not a popular opinion but it is my opinion.

They'll never break it off if we're lucky. She is definitely the dullest knife in the drawer here and way too nasty to Clark. He tried to help her twice and all she did was insult him. Saying he was a bad friend and later brushing him off as incompetant in helping find Ollie. SHe has no respect for Clark and there is no way this woman id the Lois we've all grown up respecting.
At least we did see her acknowledege she has to look at the DP to get the news. Not much of a friend or a reporter is she? Nois was marginally less obnoxious here overall but not by much. And she was again used as T&A and that's just pathetic.

I thought Lois' comments to Clark in this episode were nasty, uncalled for, and flat out wrong given what she knows firsthand about him. She may disagree with him about staying away from Oliver, but to say that she's different from him because she doesn't abandon people is just nasty. I'm OK with her teasing him and the like, but when she gets downright nasty and insulting I cease to find her schtick amusing. Or understandable. Clark was nothing but concerned for her and Oliver in this episode, and he's the one that ended up reuniting the 2 of them. He deserved better from her.
I don't care about Lollie as a couple, but I have no issues with her actions towards him romantically. I just thought the scene was badly done.
IMO
she was about to sleep with ollie? what?! oh my gosh how terribly shocking!!!
uh... have you SEEN the boy??? he melts ice just by looking at it.
they've been dating for a long time.
they have a mature relationship.
and who cares? sleeping with oliver doesn't have anything to do with her future relationship with clark. does he think lois is a virgin? does he not want her to be with ollie? no and no, he even says he wont stand in their way of being together.
well now that i've said that i'll go back on topic and say that i loved lois in this episode because she was that much closer to becoming the real lois lane. she wasn't used as comic relief or as just the 'hot girl'. i hope the writers keep this up.

I thought Lois was especially weak in this episode. Her actions puzzled me. I would have liked to see her really try to track down the Green Arrow and figure out Ollie's deal. I mean, the former puts her in the hospital and the latter is her boyfriend who might be in trouble. After seeing her tenaciously go after bizzare stories in the last few episodes, suddenly we have a Lois who talks the talk but in the end doesn't really do anything about it. Also, she just accepts Ollie unconditionally at the end in another uncharacteristic act.

I was puzzled how the Lollie relationship was easily mended in the end. Not much conflict between Lois and Oliver then I would expect.

The trouble with Lois Lane's character in Smallville in the past has been that she wasn't treated as a central character that Lois Lane should be.
DC/WB's restrictions till movie coming out hindered her progress and kept it slow.
Season 6, on that account is very remarkable that Al Miles showed that they were always determined to bring Lois Lane into the mainstream of the show as she deserves to be.
I have loved her in all episodes so far.. Arrow, Reunion and Rage were all great in a row.
I also loved this episode for it's future Clark/Lois foreshadowings and their growing friendship.
Her comment to Clark such as "I am not that gullable" also showed that she is slowly taking the future Lois personna.
Her care and concern for Olliver was also beautifully shown.
Erica also looked beautiful in both the teaser as well as the thanksgiving scene.. The pearls make her look sophisticated..
I think even those who had complains that Lois isn't well developed as she doesn't get much screentime etc will be removed this season..
I've loved her so far.
^ i agree, if she had more screentime there wouldn't be a barn-door-epiphany and we could really see her gradual development. but the writers have her on lockdown (or atleast used to i guess) which was unfair to fans and the character. she should be a major character to each plot. i know i know, based on mythos she shouldn't even be on SV, but hey, since they got her they might as well use her, especially since this may be the last season and they need to tie up some lose ends to set up what's to come.

I enjoyed Lois in this episode. Sometimes they lit her badly, but I really enjoyed her. As I always do. That look she gives Clark before Oliver arrives when Clark mentions Oliver. That was so funny! :)
