What would you have changed in hindsight to make Rage better and what misses opportunities did you find where TPTB could have done things differently or added something?

Post here after seeing the episode.

I would have made the charity that Lana wanted to be a part of be Metropolis United Charities. As soon as I heard her talking about that (especially after the pregnancy announcement) I think they should have been smart enough to make it be MUC, since that could tie in with Lana's baby (maybe she will give it up for adoption) and can also tie in with Clark's secret (2 things I think Lana will be involved with this season). Too bad!!

It's a shame that the charity was dissolved by Lionel after Clark's adoption was handled.

That's missing the point of the importance of why Lana wanted to work on that specific charity. Lana heard Lex talking on the phone to someone about that charity, found a brochure lying around somewhere, AND according to her talk with Chloe later on - Lana knew that Lex was keeping secrets about it and that's why he won't let her help. Lana caught Lex doing bad. She didn't know the specifics, but she definately knew something was up and tried to get involved.

Well, he did resurface it by making it appear that Lucas was also adopted through Metropolis United Charities.

I think by choosing Metropolis United Charities as the one that Lex was doing bad things with (like testing that drug on abused kids) they could have not only involved Lana into Lex's secrets but could have also expanded the possibilities of some major arcs that are likely to happen this season (Lana finding out Clark's secret and Lana possibly looking at options of what to do with the baby can both be tied to Metropolis United Charities).

I havent seen any comments about the Lana and Clark conversation. I will start this by saying that I am not in favor of a romantic Clana reunion.

When Lana asked Clark about going back in time and changing our mistakes. Instead of what Clark said, he should have said something about how it still wouldnt work out the way we want. How fate will catch up with us. And maybe even have given lana pause to wonder. Wondering why it sounds like he is almost talking from experience.

Just something that really bothered me. They set it up so perfectly, and then didn't follow through. I guess more par for the course.

Yeah, I totally forgot about that. I was watching that scene waiting for something else to be fed to Lana for her ponderance, but they never did it. It's a shame. It could have been the first time any slightest hint of what happened in Reckoning could have been given to her (which is something I want to have happen).
