Have any of you ever seen a promo or a trailer on a tv channel where they do something weird to get the viewer´s attention? The reason I´m asking is that there´s a Swedish network called TV6 who like to get creative whenever they promote a show or a movie they´re about to broadcast.
Currently they´re showing a trailer for X2 where they´ve added a narrator saying something like: "The world is full of mutants with dangerous abilities. But how do you stop them? Easy, David Hasselhoff´s singing voice will do the trick." And then they play his latest single while all the mutants almost get killed by Cerebro 2, only they make it look like they squirm in agony because of the music.
Another one they did a while back was for Falling Down, where they played Daniel Powter´s "Bad Day" during a montage of Michael Douglas´ character going berserk.
Is this something that´s been done before or are the guys at TV6 doing something that hasn´t been done before?
