Try this one on for size: Lionel obtained the other pieces of the box (Brainiac) and has been decipering the symbols etched in them. One of them was "power" and perhaps it means like 'power button/switch' and really has nothing to do with a warning about Lex getting too much power, etc. that past posts have speculated but just refers to labels on the device.
