So...what exactly did Clark do with Raya?

It's funny, I was wondering that same thing! I figured he probably buried her somewhere near the Fortress.

Buried her somewhere near or in the FOS.

Cremated her with his heat vision and spread her ashes :arrr:

Well, it would be interesting, although morbid. Obviously we just went through Halloween and someone convinced me to watch "The Saw". Man, that movie left a dent in my mind.

hopefully he buried her somewhere he won't plow. If it was real life, Clark would have had a breakdown by now with all his heartache. the girls other than Lana that he likes, dies. you would have the neighbors reporting weird smells to the police. Clark would be sitting up in his room with his 'pretty' asking her how her day was, asking her if she would like a piece of Mom's apple pie. Martha would be crying about her poor alien boy, no one understands him, especially that 'Lana'. Just a real ugly scene.

haha, Clark's going to approach Ollie wearing Raya asking how he likes his new superhero suit.

Sounds like a Smallville version of "Psycho" and the Bates Motel.

Hmm... those flowers were sure blooming really well during November in Kansas weren't they?

Clark & Martha were sure admiring them in the closing scenes.

She said it was all that was left of their home so I think he left her in the fortress. Do their bodies break down like humans?

You can be sure they've left it in the air so they can return to a future episode if they run out of ideas.

I think each episode is getting more and more intersting. I want it to last another 10 years. There's so much to do now

I don't know, she looked pretty gone to me, but Jor-el comes to clark in spirit, so who knows. I think some of the episodes are becoming more interesting, but I kind of feel that they have added so many more characters and have not taken any away other then Pete and Mr Kent since the beginning. With all there characters, sometimes, there is not much story time Clark. There is also alot of stuff that I think is just usless for the story line. Just don't care for some of them. Clark is growing and when you grow, alot of times, you out grow the people you went to high school went, etc. Especially Superman.

I think he performed a fast freeze on her with his super breath and will go back to thaw her out when he knows how to bring her back to life so she can be Super Girl

Charissa70
11-02-2006, 09:54 PM
cyrogenics, that would be great! Anytime that Clark 'accidently' does someone in, freeze them. Next girlfriend that dies, he can freeze her too. No guilt for Clark. Sooner or later, they can bring on a Stephen Hawkings character to bring them all back. Or a big microwave.

He has put Raya in a deep freeze just in case he can figure out a way to re-animate her in the future.

She kind of reminded me of Kara and she had a decent, mature personality.

I am sure she did a Vulcan Mind-Meld on Clark before he froze her. I bet they bring her back from her frozen state.

maybe Clark kept her body in a stasis chamber, so someday she maybe resurrected by Jor El / FOS now that it is powered up again,

How did Raya survive as long as she did? It looked like she had a hole drilled in her chest big enough for a basketball to go through.

If she was Kryptonian would she have been able to heal herself? In Wither, Clark had a tree branch impale his chest. Chloe took the branch out, presto healing and all better.

Lightning Flash
11-03-2006, 06:56 AM
Baern obliterated her with his energy-power... there was no chance of healing.

I think Clark buried her in the FoS, or in a beautiful yet safe place.

i figured that if clark got hurt in the PZ and was ok once on earth again (hit by the suns rays) then maybe Raya was only hurt since there was no sun juice to recharge her in the fortress.

maybe clark just ran her outside sharpish and now she's ok

if he didnt even try then he has really earnt the BDA tag

Found a beautiful, out of the way spot to bury her. He said at the end that Raya was amazed by the beauty of Earth so why wouldn't he bury in it.

Heh. You know... I have never seen that movie yet. I want to, because I hear the sequel's got some cute guys in it... but I've been kinda afraid to, for the very reason you just mentioned. That, and... well, I would rather have a creepy thing like that on when I'm NOT alone watching it. I couldn't even get up the nerve to watch "Cabin Fever".

It's funny... I'll watch the classics, without flinching. Freddy, Jason... even Michael Myers. Those three, I can handle. I partially understand what motivates their characters. I even get Freddy's twisted concept of humor. Maybe it's that I know those movies DON'T look real, that makes me stomach it. But the ones that DO look real... ew. That's when all the sardonic wit flies right out of me, and I turn into the perfect horror movie date DESPERATE to hide in the arm of the guy sitting next to me.

Can a kryptonian dead body be destroyed?
like isn't clark invulernable to his own heat vision. I know it would be different with a dead body, but physics-wise , would it?

I don't think so as she was not on the plant long enough for the Sun to charge her fully up so to speak. Remenber Clark has been here for 20 years and all of this other Zoner's have not I think they said 6 weeks.

I think that he froze her and kept the body at the FOS, MOP!

This is my 300 post..

Have a great day,

He made her into a crystal, cause thats all the show has. More crystals.Martha: "Clark, what do you want for your birthday?"
Clark: "A crystal, we don't have enough."

Rafael122

She's with Pete, and Mr. Small, et al.

In all seriousness, he probably buried her. I mean the guy drilled a hole in her the size of basketball. Did you guys see that? And then when Raya was on the floor, its as if nothing happened!

I thought it would've been nice if he put her body in the son (I think there was a L&C episode where Supes did that with his clone), but of course, our farmboy can't fly yet.
So then I thought, what if he threw her into the sun? But of course, he's a BDA:

Clark: Goodbye Raya, you've been a real source of inspiration to me and a true friend.
<throws Raya's body up, but not far enough, causing it to plummet back to Earth>
Clark: (ahem). Sorry, Raya. (whistles nervously)
<tries again, but this time she hits the tractor>
Clark: Third time's a charm. <throws her out of sight> I'll remember you, though you're gone forever.
Meanwhile, Lois is out jogging when something crash-lands next to her...

He hid her in the storm cellar.
Of course, he will occasionally spray some nice perfume down there to prevent a nauseating smell.

that was gross.
anyway, it's just one of these things that are easier left unexplained.

If she is in the fortress and he powered it up we may see her again.

All about Clark

No, we won't see her again.

I believe Clark buried her at the fortress or next to it because it was a symbol of her home. Plus he wouldn't want to bring her back to Smallville, where someone? could dig her up.

I agree whole heartedly. I think burying her amidst the Fortress of Solitude is the best way to bid farewell to Raya. Like her family and ancestors who died on their home planet, she perished whilst standing in the remnant of Krypton.

um, yeah. I thought Martha was going to say something like "this is a beautiful spot for Raya to be buried, Clark" or something.

ANd if he did put her in the Fortress, um, that kinda makes me go "ew!". I mean, dead body in Kal-El's 'home'? ick.

As a kryptonian her body wouldn't decompose like a human so i think he has no choice but to bury her in the FOS + its only right that he respect her heritage and do so

This somehow reminds me of George Costanza...
He should get a cameo as Jor-el, IMO...

When things get cold...THEY SHRINK! At least someone got it. Loved that episode, by the way. Seinfeld was more or less just a series of non sequiturs. Always made me laugh.
