I don't know if I'm the only one who got this vibe..but the last scene between Lex and Lana was very depressing. I mean, usually I would get a little irritated by their LACK of chemistry..but now they really had some kind of chemistry..but it just wasn't appealing. Did anyone else feel this way? Y'know...depressed.

Dang. "I guess we'll never know" Lex looked like he had been slapped, lol!

Aw, it was so sad! But I'm not too worried, mainly because she IS pregnant. =o

It was definitely weird, but it felt more angsty than depressing to me. Lana looked pretty mad, while Lex sat there sulking.

Ha, that's a good point.

I can tolerate scenes like this. I cannot stand the happy lexana because there is no way that they can be happy. Lex is evil and Lana is not. Plain and simple. Hopefully this gets fleshed out more in the coming episodes.

Pregnant? Nah, just a guess because of Holly Harold's use of the word, "cravings."

I hope Lana will become evil, too. :D

I think that it is quite clear that she won't after seeing this episode. Lana telling Lex that she was in this with him, but not on the same side as him was very telling.

*crosses fingers* Well, she's at least looking tougher, so that's a good thing.

I think they hinted the pregnancy in this episode. Call me insane, but I know what I'm talking about. Lana looked kinda sick in that last scene while she was drinking something and the whole cravings mention....
But anyways, yeah, it was very angsty, but I still believe these two won't break up anytime soon.

I'm getting sick of Lana's annoying ultimatums. Lex should call her bluff and tell her he has his own business to take care of and if she doesn't like it she can get out.

I think those were preggie hints too. I mean, why else would Holly write that bit about running out at midnight for ice cream? LOL- it meant something. She definitely looked sick at the end, sipping her tea by the fire. At least next time Lex starts talking smack, she can puill a Linda Blair on him. :)

Lana looked very tired in the episode, and sickly, too.

I can't believe Lex Luthor has become such a whipped weenie that he really would have picked Lana over the box. But it was the right answer after the box was gone. "Yeah sure, honey, of course I'd pick you. And that dress doesn't make you look fat either."

I think he would have picked her, and then still worked with the box behind her back.

Doesn't Lex get beat up too much for a someone who is suppose to be Superman's greatest nemesis? Maybe not since Clark gets thrown around quite a bit too. Lana didn't look all that concerned about Lex going through the table.

Percisely, but my view on the whole Lexana action tonight was that he was being a little more evil like than usual.

Agreed! Lana's agenda is not on the same page as Lex. She's trying to be with him but at the same time protect him from himself...too bad it's a lost cause

Lana is disloyal. Lex has a good point that Earth needs to be protected from dangerous aliens, and he needs power to do it. She should understand that after what she's been through with these alien creatures. Lex should boot her out the door, but he probably won't if she's pregnant.

Yes this was a low point for Lexana. They both broke the vow of no secrets no lies as each knew that they would when they made the vow. LOL! Lana doesn't let Lex play his stupid games, Lex really doesn't let Lana play her stupid games... so they both kind of take the masks off and what you're left with is pretty depressing... but honest... which is interesting.

Completely agree with you there. This dark, twisted relationship is the only one that could pass by me as believable. The last Lexana scene was the first time I actually enjoyed Lexana, because the writing actually seemed to fit the chemistry that existed in the right way. I'm still looking forward to it ending, though.

It's interesting to watch this relationship as an outsider looking in. Lana gets on her high horse around Clark, yet she'll turn out to be proven SO wrong in the end.
I think it's much more fitting they have this troubled sort of relationship now. At least she's not some naive girl as much.

I agree, baby or not this was the beginning of the end of Lexana. The only thing we don't know is how far away is the end.

I just kinda wonder... is the child of Lana and Lex going to be killed?
I guess that's my main bit of curiosity... Lana's become infinitely more cynical... and she's showing she's not an idiot... I think she, for one, suspects Clark's meteor freak at the least..
She also seems to be with Lex for investigative purposes.. she doesn't trust him and wants to keep track of him more than anything...
If Lana's child was killed due to Lex's actions... I think it'd push Lex over the edge completely... not because he'd love his child, but like Lionel... because he'd lose an heir... and Lana would hate him, and become even MORE of a recluse, explaining why she'd choose to simply stay in Smallville
SO...
Here's my suggestion... Will Clark and Lex be involved in a battle where Lana's child is lost... and though it is Lex's fault, he'll blame it on Clark, cementing his utter hatred of Superman/Clark?
