Baern isn't from Krypton. Raya said it herself, he killed hundreds on his world before coming to Krypton, where Jor-El imprisoned him within the PZ.

And agreed, Clark has got to get a bit more proactive about whooping butt.

even if he came from another planet, that planet I assume was from a red solar system.
