So exactly why wouldn't Lana question Lex with the negative comments people are flying around. She doesn't seem to pick up on anything that is even said right to her face. It's mind blowing.

Oh please, like she's going to care what a former bully thinks about Lex.

Oh yes she do-es! :D She wants to redeem him IMO. Save him from himself. How romantic... NOT!

But I admire that she's got the guts to try. And boy does she try hard.

^^^^^
She does. She fell on the floor at the mansion and Lex went down too. She also has speech problems, haven't you heard her "secrets and lies" speech enough. It's borderline pyschotic.
And of course she can't remember a thing that happened prior to Splinter. I think that sliver K must affect Lana too. Darn you to hell Brainiac.

Agreed! She's not naieve about lex and she wants to see the good in him. She honestly believes she can turn him and that's going to bite her in the butt later on...

It does seem that she gives Lex a total pass.....and that she has never trusted Clark.

She was questioning him way back in second season after he SAVED her from the twister.

What I keep wondering is what does she think about Chole still being friends with Clark? Does she think that Chloe is just blinded by devotion?

Does she really believe that Clark slept with that Hypno girl?

Comments from who? Clark? He's just a jealous compulsive liar and she knows it. Oliver and his friends? They're obviously bullying jerks. Only an idiot would take comments from those sources seriously. Chloe is smarter than any of them and she advised Lana to get together with Lex. Lex has treated Lana OK so far, and that seems to be what she cares about, rather than other people's gossip.

She's an idiot because she saw the lengths Clark went through to do the same for Lex. Well if she didn't before, she should see it now that she herself knows about Lex's tendency. But, look at how far Clark went to save Lex from himself & Lionel. In season 3, he went as far as involving himself in the dangerous games between Lionel & Lex and we know the consequences of Shattered (as does Lana since she was a victim in that episode). I'm sure she knows about him testifying against Lionel in court and going to China with her, which did save Lex from those prison guards. She knows all this and that in the end, Clark and Lex are no longer friends. So not only is she repeating Clark's mistake, but she's also offering herself romantically, which gives her an extra dimension to being burned on by Lex's nature that Clark didn't have (though he has his secret, which is equal if not more since that is his entire identity & exposes his family as well).

Bottom line, Lana knows exactly what she's getting in. But I do think she has a hidden agenda after watching the promo of next week's episode. I think she will be doing the same thing with the blackbox that she did with the air stone--using Lex & his guilt/desire for her to hide the fact of what she wants it for like she did with Jason when she changed the subject after she staged the "theft" of the air stone in that S4 episode.

Lana is delusional.
