The only time I can remember this is during season finale/premiers. Maybe it's the new theme for this season? I'd actually enjoy watching a few episodes like that. Maybe it's all the 24 i've been watching.. lol

Was about to say the same thing, seems like this episode was a set up for next week.
CONTIUNITY can do wonders for a show.

 I said the same thing.
Stuff like that leads to more of the good stuff in the next episode.:p

Well, S5 had decent continuity, and S4 kinda did, which made it much better than early eps.
Hopefully S6 will have a strong story arc.

The good thing about this season is that they don't have to fit the entire season into an entire school year. They can, if they want, do each episode with endings that roll into the next episode. Could get interesting.
Speaking of school - did Lana, Clark, Chloe & Lois all drop out? Hasn't the new fall semester started yet???

Well, I don't think that the next episode will start where this one left off, but defineltly there was a little build up to next week's episode. At this point of the show there is no reason to not do this. This season should not feature any meteor freak.....ouch, they had one already, but the story should focus on the characters and the seasonal arc, so far they had done a decent job this year.

i think the dark thurs stuff shut everything down.
hence, no school, no dorms, (lana moved in w/Lex, and Chloe w/ Lois)

yeah, Lana said that Metropolis University was going to be closed this semester due to the dark Thursday. About the kansas one I don't know, but I guess it must be closed too.

Yea, right on. This episode was just an average sort of ep. but if it's purpose was to set up for next week's, then that would be great. I like this idea by the writers.

I liked how Reunion set up next week's episode through Clark gaining the satellite images by stopping Duncan. It was a nice way for TPTB to bring continuity and delve into the history of the characters.

The continuity has been making the mediocre episodes watchable... when you can link things together it does wonders for your ability to put up with things that are subpar...
