I think it will later...
I mean we don't know for sure what will happen with Chloe...
And we are very certain that Lois and Clark end up together.
I just don't want it to add to this seasons triangle theme,
but in the future I would love to see some mature Chlolie.
lol :D
I mean Chloe's look right after she met him was definently an oh-my-god-I-found-the-love-of-my-life kinda look.
I love the idea...well as long as all ends well and Lois is okay with Chloe getting with Ollie and Chloe loves that Lois and Clark fall desperatetly in love with eachother.

Excellent point!! I read that the CW executive did an interview and she likes Hartley and a spin-off might happen. It's on the front of Kryptonsite and her and the green arrow can date and solve crimes together!! I like Chloe and Clark but a spin-off would be great for Allison!!

Well maybe Chloe doesn't know shes found her man, But her look is one of absolute attractment. Even Ollie was a bit tonguetied... well as much as he can be without giving to much away.
Idk, maybe its just the delirious hallucination of girl whos found her new ship, but I sure know I'd love it if Chloe got her own show alongside Hartley. Defifnetly get me my superhero fix once...*gasp*

Yes! I mean anyone can disagree with me if they'd like..
bu I trully feel like that little scene was the begginings of a new triangle, or maybe even a real solid relationship?
Idk all this talk about Chloe being Lois and it all being a big jumble...I think the fact is alls right and Lois is Lois and she EVENTUALLY falls for Clark...and Chloe becomes whoever GA'a love interest is in his comics... and then a spinoff will hopefully come out of all of this.
Don't get me wrong I'm a sucker for Chlark anyday, actually everyday, but fates...well, fate. And as much as I'd like to see Lois march her little butt to timbuktu and leave Clark alone forever with Chloe soon after getting forced to become Lois Lane, (the one Clark falls for)....well its nothing more than a dream.
& once I realize that I sort start likeing the whole Chlolie Clois thing.
hmm. you know what I NOW notice about my self?

I agree. I think she was just thinking, "whoa, he's hot." I'm really hoping that she was thinking, "man, Lois was right -- that guy is seriously hot" because I don't want Chloe to be a boyfriend stealer.
I didn't see any heat from Oliver's side, though -- he seemed more interested in Lois the whole time he was talking to her. And reminding her that he was going to look out for her article since he let her use his access codes (very Bruce Wayne of him, I liked it).
And...um... where's Jimmy??? Shouldn't she be looking at him going, "whoa, he's...." Poor Jimmy. Even when he's not in the episode, he gets shafted.

I think it will be the smart move. If your a T.V. producer you want to give your new show a boost. If the Chloe character is on a Green Arrow spin-off, it just makes sense. The character is popular and she will bring viewers to the show. Chloe's character can become a part of the Green Arrow's story and there's no telling how far this can go!!

But if they put Chloe in a show about the GA, she still ends up alone. In canon, Oliver loves Black Canary. And Chloe isn't her. So is it Chloe's destiny to love superheroes who end up with other women??

Although I am a die-hard CHLARKER, I would LOVE the idea of CHLOLLIE:D The scene between Chloe and Oliver was very WEIRD. It was OBVIOUS that Chloe was into him, BUT Oliver seemed a little into her as well. Did you notice that when he was talking to Chloe about explaining himself to Lois that he tried to include Clark in the conversation, BUT couldn't take his EYES OFF OF CHLOE ;) I thought that was very INTERESTING! Did you also notice how Clark was staring LOVINGLY at Chloe, when Oliver tells her that he is anxious to read her "Dark Thursday" article? WOW. . .WAY TO GO CHLOE! AND What is up with CHLIMMY? Chloe is suppose to be all lovey dovey with Jimmy, and CHLARK doesn't even mention him, when he's not in the episode. I want to see MORE FROM CHLARKIMMY and MAYBE CHLARKOLLIE? :p
MAYBE Chloe will turn out to be the BLACK CANARY and then the GA and Chloe can hook-up! If CHLARK or CHLOIS were not to happen, and that's a BIG IF, then I would be satisfied if Chloe ended up with the GA, that is if she's the Black Canary (GA's Lover).

that's what i was thinking. i picked up on the spark in his eyes when chloe said "she never stops talking about you" or something along those lines. he was probably just thinking 'wow, my girlfriend talks about me!' and because chloe didn't know about the 'paper' she was writing (Clark's cover) she stumbled a bit and ollie just seemed to pick up on the fib, so he looked a little bit amused.

Wow, I didn't see it that way at all. Chloe mentions that Lois has talked about him a lot & Oliver's immediate response is to say that he's about to go meet Lois & that it was his turn to do the talking. If anything, I saw him get excited that Lois has been talking about him and he was thinking about her during the whole conversation.
And I saw the mention of the article as him going, "I haven't forgotten that I gave you my access codes... I'll be following up on that...." and there was a look he gave Clark that indicated that he knew there was no article.
And I didn't see Clark looking at her lovingly... he was kind of like, "yeah, this is my friend Chloe. Chloe, this is my friend Oliver...." and then he looked sheepish about the lie regarding the article. After Chloe checked Oliver out, I just got the sense he was sick of people telling him that Oliver's hot (remember, Lois did it earlier that day).
And Chloe=Black Canary? I don't know... how about Chloe = Chloe? I think she's good enough to stand on her own. I kind of like her as Chloe Sullivan. Why does she need to change just to land a guy?

Originally it was rumored it would be Chloe and Oliver. And it should have been. And no, she was not trying to make Clark jealous but rather saying she thought the guy was hot and that her cousin had chosen well. Although, frankly, the guy's good looking but he isn't that hot. I mean, everyone pales in comparison to Clark and I'm sure Chloe is well aware of that.

I agree completely. The producers wanted that moment between Chloe and Oliver for a reason. Think about it, if Lois finds out that Chloe and Oliver are messing around and Clark loses a relationship he might start with Raya, then they both have an excuse to be drawn closer together. Now I want Chlark, but I wouldn't be upset at this twist because it's actually good writing. Plus if there is a Green Arrow spin-off this just means more Chloe!!

NOW TO THE IMPORTANT PART OF THAT SCENE!!!
I couldn't help but pick up on that too! That is what stood out in this scene more than anything!
Clark: you know making the wrong choices and living with the consequences is not easy is it?
Oliver: Speaking from experience, huh?
Clark: more than I'd like.
Oliver: Ya know we all make bad choices Clark, All we can hope is to make the right ones in the future, right?
Clark smiles and nods his head. Then hears Chloe's voice right on Q!
Chloe: Clark!
Wearing green is part of Chloe's character and always has been. She wears a lot of green...The name "Chloe" means "blossoming" or "green shoot" and "renewal".

If Lois had done what Chloe did she would already be labelled a tramp. She is so often bashed for no reason.
Chloe simply drools over Ollie and you guys get the idea of Chloliver? What about loyalty? What about poor Jimmy Olsen who seems to be seriously in love with Chloe? First, she discards him in front of Clark and now this?
And not to mention that Oliver is her cousin's boyfriend.
HELLO? Hitting on your cousin's boyfriend????
But Chloe can get away with it because she is Chloe!
Great Chloe fans! Shouldn't you guys have dubbed this as OOC Chloe? Seriously!

Chloe wasn't hitting on him, she was just checking him out. No harm in that.
Although I do agree that if Lois had been in the same position then people probably would have bashed her. But they would have been wrong then too.

For the record: I have, for instance. Several times, in several threads dealing with this scene...
And where did we see that Jimmy is seriously in love? Where is Jimmy?

First of all Chloe did not hit on Oliver. She simply commented on his attractiveness, rather immaturely in my opinon, and after he had gone. She was nothing but polite to him and I really didn't catch any chemistry between them either, despite the new found enthusiam of Chlollie shippers.
Anyway, I found her reaction to be way over the top and rather adolescent considering that Clark, Lex and past male guest stars are as equally attractive in my opinion, me being a man comfortable in my heterosexuality. :)
Despite the criticism, I am fairly confident that Chloe has no desires for the fair Mr. Queen and that all in all it was a throw away comment. I could go on about how our society seems obsessed with appearance and superficialites over substance and character, but quite honestly I have things to do and it's just a TV show anyway.

Isn't it interesting that Chloe has been portrayed more teeny-like, or adolescent in S6??? I mean, I am surprised. She was always acting ridiculously older than her real age (as did most characters, actually).
Is she regressing, or what?

It's just Chloe. The writers sometimes give her the worst lines and Allison usually manages to pull them off with aplomb. Like her line about planting the flag to Jimmy. Utterly, uh, retarted is the best way I can say it. I expect that by next week we'll be back to sweet little Jimmy and Chloe, her reaction to Oliver long forgotten.
Why they had her react that way? Who knows. I guess the writers felt that they needed to throw a bone to all those tweeners and thirteensomethings to give them something new to add to their illegible Myspace pages and scribble on notebooks.

Chloe was 'hitting' on Ollie!! Anyone who sees that scene clearly knows she was hitting and flirting.
You see, if Chloe didn't have Jimmy, and Ollie wasn't Lois's boyfriend, I might have actually throughoutly enjoyed this scene but in this situation.. it was in bad taste.. she acted like a school girl..
Being a Chloe fan doesn't mean turn a blind eye towards her faults. Honestly, many fans don't like the shape Chloe is taking this season.. jealousy with her cousin.. bitter remarks and now this..

Yeah, it is strange, I have to admit that much... I also called it OOC several times. But maybe they just spend less time on her character this season, that's why they screw up more often with her than they used to? I mean, Lois is much better written than last year and the one before... I mean, her character is going somewhere, suddenly... Maybe they just focus all their attention on her.

Even if the writers are spending more time to improve Lois's character doesn't mean that Chloe's character should go downhill. They are two separate characters, Lois is the female lead of the story so definitely she needs more and more attention but that doesn't mean that the writers stop paying attention to Chloe BECAUSE of Lois..
They are just turning Chloe into something else.. I don't like it, I would simply want my old Chloe back.. the good old cousin loving Chloe..
PS: If she had any feelings for Clark, she would not drool over Ollie like that in front of Clark.. and look at Clark's reaction.. he was so amused, almost laughing.. even if there was a little Chlark vibe left, this scene officially killed it.

yea, i liked that ollie left to be with his girl. and clark was just smiling b/c he wasn't used to seeing chloe speechless about a guy (except for him ofcoarse).
and chloe wasn't flirting. i mean, she said about three words. if that's flirting, then the girl needs some MAJOR practice.

That was sort of my take as well and I considered it a throwaway line. Now we have all this speculation that Chloe was "hitting" on Oliver, which is ridiculous in my opinion, and that they will get together down the road. It just isn't going to happen.

 true
Oh, come on, the girl just commented on how good looking the guy was, and even if she did do some shallow flirting, I doubt she would have let it go further! Firstly out of respect for both herself and her cousin, and secondly she wouldn't intentionaly hurt Jimmy, so as far as I am concerned I will start criticising the girl once I actually see her kiss the guy, which will never happen, cos she would never hurt her boyfriend that way!
As for her comments about Lois and her budding journalism efforts, well yes, she maybe a little envious of Lois for making it look so easy, but I think that's just because she needs more time to realise the fact that there is enough room for both her and Lois in the world of journalism and that she shouldn't feel threatened by her cousin in the slightest!
As for Clark and Lex being equally attractive as Olliver, as someone mentioned a fact making Chloe's reaction over the top, well I don't think it was over the top, sence Olliver is actually rather better looking than both Clark and Lex! He just has that something! So, Chloe is reaction was quite right! The guy is a stud!

Agree! But no one can really say, how long Chloe and Jimmy will last, and how long Lois and Olliver will last!
I mean should the writers chose to break up both couples and, as crazy as it will sound to most, change the combination so that they pair up Chloe and Olliver, Lois and Clark, thus sending Jimmy into the oblivion... I mean it could happen!
Personally I don't care one way or the other, sence Lois and Chloe have a lot of qualities in common, Chloe would fit Olliver just as Lois does, Lois of course wouldn't fit Jimmy, cos there is no way he could handle her, but TPTB write this show, and if they wanted to pair Lex and Olliver together they would do it!
They have proved as much in the past, that they do what they want with no regards to the canon!
My point being, we should be prepared for everything and anything they trough at us! Even, if they chose so, Chlolliver!

I really really like Lolliepop. My first EVER ship on this show. Romantically speaking.
I haven't seen the episode yet but my own loving man assured me, as I was near grief stricken at the possibility of Oliver having eyes for anyone BUT Lois until Lollie is no more, that it was all on Chloe's side and that she appeared to simply be admiring his good looks. I began to breathe again.
You can look Chloe, but never rub another woman's (especially your cousin's) rhubarb. :)
After Lollie is over I'm all for it. Chloe can take notes on him and get pointers from Lois. . :p

My fiancé told me that was what he said, and that Oliver reaction was a well versed version of . . . "Lookin' forward to reading your stuff, bye, going to see my woman now." It kept from crying in despair for my Lollie. Go Oliver! Wonderful man that you are, standing next to your woman even when she's not present.
*sigh* sweet Lollie, how I love thee, let me count the ways.
Oliver had the same non reaction to the woman who unlike Chloe (or at least as it was described to me) really WAS hitting on Oliver at the cocktail party in Arrow.
--------------
"Weellll, hello . . Oliver."
Oliver thinks *yeah okay, here meet my very lovely girlfriend*
------------------------------------------
Honestly, though I haven't seen "Reunion" yet, it sounded to me like Chloe was just recognizing his hotness (come on now, he IS hot! In fact the only person on this show I find hotter than him is Lois), not hitting on him and only checking him out but not blatantly 'I want to jump your bones'
That doesn't bother me. If Chloe really WAS hitting on Oliver than yeah, I'd say "Smoke you Sullivan!" but it doesn't really sound like she was. If Jimmy was hot (which I don't think he is, but that's me) than it would be just as okay for Lois to check HIM out.

I don't think it would strike the same Firestorm Chemistry, no, but I don't think there would be anything wrong with when Lollie is over. Though I tend not to think about that horrible moment. *sniff*
Chloe doesn't seem like the COMPLETE opposite of Lois, they do share some things but Chloe isn't as arrogant or sassy as Lois and in all honesty I think that's WHY Lollie works as great as it does, becaues Oliver is the same way.
^^
No, I didn't get the sense that Chloe was hitting on Oliver. She did check him out, but it was after he left. I mean, when he was around I don't think he would have thought, "dude, Lois's cousin is checking me out." She kept herself well under control until after he'd left. Then she turned to Clark and basically told Clark that she thought Oliver was really hot.
If I had to say that there was anything inappropriate about the scene, it would be that she didn't tell her thoughts to Lois -- sharing them with Clark seemed odd. It was more a reaction that would have fit if Lois were in the room. Like, "oh my God - your boyfriend's hot! You weren't kidding!!" or something like that -- it just seemed random that she would go on and on about to Clark.
But I'd like to think that she wasn't hitting on him & that it was just a random observation on her part. Because he really is hot. Not as hot as Tom Welling (what can I say, I like dark hair  ) but he is hot.

That's terrible -- I hope that's not what's going on. These writers should be able to write all the women well. That's crazy -- I want Lois to develop and become even more awesome ( :) ) but not at Chloe's expense. That would be horrible, imo.

Nope... basically Chloe says that Lois talks about him all the time. And he kind of gets happy & he says that he's on his way to meet Lois and that it's time he did some talking. And then he mentions the article to her (the one he gave Clark his access codes for) saying that he's looking forward to reading it. Chloe wasn't aware that Clark lied, so there's an uncomfortable moment where Oliver realizes that Clark lied. Chloe shoots Clark a look & Clark looks sheepish and guilty. Then Oliver leaves. And then Chloe checks him out & says something like, "wow..." and then Clark has to force her to focus on why they were meeting to begin with.
In short: Oliver is really focused on (1) Lois and (2) his access codes during the whole conversation. Not Chloe.

 Yeah, what is up with that?? Every episode some character talks about how gorgeous she is -- within the first few seconds of meeting her.
And, yes, I agree that this mainly about TPTB pimping Justin Hartley. Also, I think it's meant to underscore the differences between Oliver and Clark. Both Lois and Chloe are all about how hot he is & it's not just about his looks. I think it's the whole thing -- he's a charming billioniare who is super-confident. The opposite of Clark. And they were just going out of the way to hit Clark and the audience over the head with it. (Because it's very hard for "SV" to be subtle.)

but don't forget when chloe says "wow... he's even better in person...he looks... wow..."
or some other jumbled dialogue while she watched his butt on the way out ;)

Yeah but Chloe knows what she has read or been told, Lois knows him from BEING with him. With Lois I'm pretty sure it's not just about the looks and I KNOW with Oliver it's about more than the looks. At least in my opinion. I can see it in how they are together.
It's a beautiful thing.
He smiled when Chloe said Lois talked about him all the time? Aww, that's so cute!!!!! *floats off to Lollie heaven*
Yeah, if that's the way it went down I'm going to agree that she wasn't hitting on him, just looking and I know the rule in most healthy relationships . . .they or you are allowed to look but look only.
I have that rule with my old man *kisses* but that might because I know I'm hotter than most of the women HE looks at. lol ;)
On a side note, I find it sort of odd that they wouldn't have written Chloe as having met Oliver off screen. It seems Oliver and Lois spend A LOT of time together, and unless something changed isn't Chloe still living with Lois at her apartment where Oliver frequents? Ah, well, guess in the main scheme of things that's not really that important.
I would have preferred it if Chloe met Oliver with Lois NOT Clark present, but again it's not all that important.

better than smiled, he smirked. it was like he was thinking about what Lois might have said about him. since he knows lois would never admit that she actually talks about him to other people, he looked pretty content that she mentions him "all the time" to chloe.

The difference being, that we'll have a total of seven episodes in which the world revolves around Ollie, and hey so what, he is smooking hot!
As for Lana, we have had five, comming on five and a half years of the world revolving around her!
My point being, I don't mind the seven episodes of Ollie all that much, but I loathe the major part of the five and half years of Lana!

Yeah, I was never a fan of Lanaville, but making the show GreenArrowville isn't an improvement, imo.
They even had Martha Kent talking about how handseome Ollie is. They can't let the audience decide if someone is hot or not, they have to make all the characters tell the audience to think the person is hot. They used Chloe to bring it home that Oliver is just that good-looking.

they didn't need martha kent to solidify ollie's hottness. trust me, you just need eyes. they added in all the scenes where the women are checking him out just for comic relief, not to sway the audience into thinking anything about the character.

To what end? Why tell the audience that Oliver is handsome and then have another character repeat it? What is the point? It's not like we're all reading a novel and relying on the narrative to describe the characters for us, it's TV for Pete's sake.
Notice how they focus on Oliver's looks and that not one character has made mention of Oliver's integrity, character or help of the less fortunate. No, let's visually masturbate the audience while Chloe drools like a love struck teenage zit popper. I still don't get it, but whatever.

Why the heck does everyone need to comment on Lana's looks in this show? I want someone to walk into a scene and say:
"Lex, your girlfriend ain't half ugly is she?"

that would be beautiful!!!! yeah, lana is a really pretty girl, but everytime the audience is reminded of it by some random comment she becomes less pretty. let the audience make up there own mind...

This is when a lot of people including me, started shipping them. See how long it took for TPTB to give us Chlolliers what we wanted??
How funny is this thread? :rotfl:
CHLOLLIE FTW!!
I don't know if I was imagining it...Maybe Ollie was just nervous, but there was something weird between them. Definite chemistry...in my opinoin. So who knows!!

This thread is classic. It took three years, but it happened. It just shows you never know what is going to happen on SV.:D

Oh well... so, much for that other woman who is in the JL with Oliver, Clark, etc. and thinks that she is Canary

I was never a fan of Chollie, but after re-watching that scene, I think they make a cute couple.
