I thought Ollie "owed Clark one" because of the whole "I-know-you're-the-Green-Arrow-and-I-helped-you-escape-from-Lois" thing... Now why on earth would he say to Chloe that Oliver owes him one? Isn't she going to wonder why Ollie is indebted to Clark? Hmmmmm...

True...I was wondering about that myself.
Also, I had the closed caption on, and when Chloe said Queen Industries (when referring to satellites), the caption said Arrow Industries. I have it on every week just to see what dialogue is changing, and this is something that I caught.

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe he told her a different story? But how would he even do that without arousing her suspicion?
cuz hes kept his secret from lois

Well yeah, but Chloe doesn't know that... besides, Ollie is keeping Clark's secret too, right?

Chloe's got to wonder why Oliver owes Clark one. It just doesn't make any sense, IMHO.

maybe he told chloe he helped Ollie get Lois back and that's why he owes him one, or maybe something else?

He just didn't tell her why... I can see saying that OQ owes him one... I don't see why Chloe wouldn't get curious and ask "why" though...

Well, why on earth would a famous billionaire just happen to owe Clark Kent a favor? C'MON, CHLOE, use that brain... Green Arrow... Oliver Queen... Robin Hood... DUHHHH hehe.

well, oliver clearly forgot he owed clark one, because he asked for a favor in return.
Ollie didn't forget; he's just like Lex (remember he wasn't nice in High School) and he wanted to get something. People don't get rich or keep their money by accident. You want to swim with the billionaire sharks you have to act like one.

I definitely don't agree that he's "just like Lex", but he can certainly act like a jerk billionaire when the need arises. Don't forget though, he is a superhero.
And it's not like he beat the heck out of someone.

True she may wonder which may also lead to her helpin clark when oliver goes nuts in rage.Cause in the description it says that chlark looks for wayz to help oliver. So I'm guessin she knows by then she may ask next week,or maybe clark jus comes clean on his own.But I'm guessin she'll put 2 & 2 together tho before clark tells cause clark gave out too much of a hint wit that statement at the table.
Any guy that has to bully others (especially bald and comic book reading teens) with physical or verbal/emotional abuse isn't a nice guy. He steals mid-term answers and acts like a spoiled brat. Making fun of kids who don't have money is pretty low and ignorant. Yeah, I'd say he's acting just like Lex.
He gets points for growing up and feeling bad about his mistakes and growing up but he's definitely No Clark Kent Boy Scout.

Right, he doesn't do those things anymore. And even back then he wasn't just like Lex... Lex would have pretended to be friends with the guy(s) who did that to him, and he beat up his one and only friend who disagreed with him. Even Oliver told Lex to stop it and held him back. He may not have been a nice guy, or a "boy scout" like Clark (who, bear in mind, ran a 24 hour crime orgy in Metropolis for three months), but he was far from being Lex, even back then.

I think that Chloe is smart enought to knwo that, IF Clark wantes her to know somethign he will tell her and that its no use pushing him.

^^ It was a point they didn't agree on, I'm guessing... In the ep *Clark* says to Ollie you owe me on. *Ollie* says consider us even... based on the fact that he didn't tell...
Hmmm... but then as he walked off, as I remember, he said, "I'll consider us even when you return that necklace that you stole." And Ollie does. So now I'm confused... that should have settled the whole debt thing...

wth are you talking about lol ^^
but then again, maybe its SUPPOSE to arouse the suspicions of chloe, so that way chloe can start to put 2 & 2 together? thats a very good question tho, im not really sure what to think now..lol

I don't understand why Clark thought Oliver owed him one... didn't they declare themselves "even" at the end of Arrow? I thought maybe it had something to do with the necklace, but Clark and Lionel still seem to be on great terms... so I am stumped. Just sounded like Clark thinking the world in general owes him one. He is a hero and has saved everyone on a daily basis for over 5 years now, so lol, can't fault his reasoning too harshly.
Chloe on the otherhand, I don't understand how/why she couldn't put 2 and 2 together, either.
i was thinking that too, like wont chloe be thinking "what's clark done for ollie that makes him indebted?"
but she'll find out soon enough. she's the only one clark can be openly honest with. she'd keep GA secret too i'm sure.

I think Chloe figured it out at the end of this ep but finds no point in discussing it because Clark will tell her eventually, she knows he will. I mean, he even told her the detail about the crater he left. So he's not wanting to keep anything from her for long.

My guess is that at some point in the near future Chloe finds out about the OQ=GA thing, and either this episode was written after that one, or the writers got confused on the timeline.

Like Chloe doesn't already think Ollie is sexy enough... Now she'll know he's a sexy superhero! Heh.
shirkie
good point! she already mentioned that GA gave the stolen items to museums and money to charities, so he's already on a pedistal, and now she's physically attracted to OQ. it should get interesting...

Chloe knows that Clark knows Oliver's secret identity and so to have Clark say "he owes me one" would probably mean to her for keeping his identity a secret.
And while I'm sure she's being eaten alive wanting to know GA's identity she learned her lesson long ago (finally. After getting burned many times.).
