What About Green Arrow + Kryptonite?

I'm talking about the standard green variety here. And why not? It fits with Arrow's costume/motif and would level the playing field between Clark & Ollie. Otherwise, Clark can easily stop him every time he goes astray. If GA got some Green K, though, and outfitted some of his weaponry w/it, it would add a nice wrinkle -- a la Batman/Superman.

Otherwise, pretty good ep., though Lois could have EASILY
de-hooded GA during the first confrontation met -- but where's the fun in that, right?

green arrow and clark are friends so green arrow would never use green k cause he wouldnt want to hurt clark. based on the show tho he doesnt know anything about clarks weakness yet or anything about the metor rocks. he was never from smallville and didnt know anything about it till he arrived. his green arrows are just green cause i guess its a family color or something. plus it seems like they are removing all K from the show atleast for now.

Actually, I was thinking the same thing about this last night. Like he laces the tips with Green K so they can pierce, not Clark, but the other Kryptonians' skin.

I think it would make for a good “trust” scene between Ollie and Clark. Obviously Ollie would need a test subject because it would also have to be enough to slow their reaction time down, otherwise they could just get out of the way.

i expect the GA to learn about green k pretty soon, it seems inevitable. it would be more interesting that way.

ya that would be the only reason he would use it is to help clark fight off the phantom zone escapees but only if the other escapees are kryptonians. or unless he finds green k not knowing what it is and finds out it gives his arrows a little boost. then using it on clark might be an accident.

Kryptonite would fit just fine with the Green Arrow's character, but I'm SOOO glad the writers decided not to include it. For me, anything having to do with kryptonite just waters down the storyline immensely, and I think the success of Arrow clearly reflects that solid episodes do not rely on Kryptonite.

If they keep playing up GA as a Batman replacement, I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen.
