One of my favourite relationships on the show is the Lois and Chloe dynamic and now it seems off. Just much different than season 4 and 5 with the jealousy comments and such coming out of nowhere. It seems they are slowly starting to ruin the relationship. :(

Today was not very comforting, I agree.
Keep up the good hope, I doubt that they will ruin that relationship...

I fear that as Lois assumes more and more of the ICLois' attributes, Chloe will be relegated to an expendable character. I so do not want that to happen. I thoroughy enjoy the Clark/Chloe moments. They are so good for each other. I like it best when they share scooby duties.

The relationship seems to be going downhill. Unless the writers have decided that since for season 4 and 5 the Chlo-Lo relationship has been conflict-free they might as well add some rivalry to make it realistic. I liked them in season 4 and 5 but I think some trouble was bound to happen. Just a chance to see cousins sort of on the odds with each other.
I could see Chloe being apprehensive with Lois all a sudden coming in and taking up journalism just like that when Chloe has invested a lot of time in it. It is a human reaction. Maybe it gives a chance for Lois to prove how serious she is about journalism.
If it is just a small blip in their relationship and they come out more closer and stronger than before than I'm all for it. :)

Bill Gates & Steve Jobs were both great friends on a personal level but when it comes to professional levels they are complete rivals.
The same with many situations, you may trust your best friend with a lot, but would you trust them 100% with your livelyhood?
Both women are rival reporters, a "scoop" would make one's career go a long way, maybe promote Chloe from the basement or Lois out of the rumor journalism into the mainstream reporting.

I think the fact that Chloe knows about Clark and helps him, that Lois isn't that much of a threat to Chloe in any matter. That's why she helped her, because she at least has Clark. However, Lois wants Chloe to be jealous, which is interesting. It is Chloe's comfort zone that Lois wants to break. I hope it doesn't go so far as both wanting Clark at the same time.
^^
I disagree with that. I don't think that Lois wants Chloe to be jealous at all. And Chloe "having" Clark is actually hurting her career -- not helping it. How many times has Chloe gotten to the bottom of an investigation & not been able to write about what really happened? Even with the GA -- she lost all of her research b/c Clark deleted it. And then Clark asked her not to pursue it & because of her relationship with him, she agreed. Lois, on the other hand, doesn't have to worry about those things. She can go after whoever she wants & write about whatever she wants. Lois has more freedom.
If anything, Chloe has been displaying derision and jealousy eversince Lois decided to pursue the journalistic path. And it's odd, because in season 4 & 5 it was Chloe who wanted Lois to consider it as a career. She wanted the same thing for Clark, as well. Chloe was the one who kept pushing her -- and now that Lois is actually taking Chloe's advice, Chloe is being all, "puh-lease.... like I have anything to worry about with Lois."
Personally, I think TPTB are setting Chloe up for a fall. But I sincerely hope not. The cousins relationship is one of the best on the show & I would hate to lose it. They're best friends & I love watching them interact and react to situations. Some of the best parts of the show include the cousins' conversations.

healthy competition people.
And yes, Chloe is going the way of the Do-Do.

That's why it's so messed up. It's my only beef with this season. CHLOE WANTED LOIS TO BE A JOURNALIST! So why this season would she suddenly be such a snotty little priss about it? That makes no sense.
I actually liked the first Chlois scene in Arrow because that was what Chlois was and SHOULD be like. Wary that they don't step on each other's shoes yes, but not sniping and pettily jealous of one another. That's WAY OOC for both of them and not very enjoyable to watch.
