Someone help...

"...be gentle Clark, Lex wasn't half the man you are."

Ollie was talking about how Clark saves the people he loves, but there is a whole world out there, and with his potential he could do alot and when Clark is ready, to let Ollie know. That basically wraps it up.

Thanks Goose, you are a life saver.
And Nospam, you aren't much of a help. Save the slash for your fantasies.

Oliver: Clark, you have abilities... I couldn't even dream of. And I admire that you use them to save the people you're close to.
Clark: But...
Oliver: There's a whole world of people out there, Clark. They need us. With your potential... you can't wait for them to come to you. When you're ready to do something about that you let me know.
Superman flourish...
(For some reason at this point I got visions in my head of Oliver sewing the Superman costume. LOL!)

Seriously though, I just brought the episode up on my PVR and was fast forwarding to the end before Goose beat me to it. Really, I tried.

Yes, the scene makes it clear that GA has already decided that he wants to team up with Clark. Why does Clark need to come to the GA when he is ready? Or is this a reference to being ready for something else...??

It seems like obvious foreshadowing to the early 2007 episode, Justice when Clark, Oliver, Kyle, Aquabro, and Vincent team up.

I just hope he's not dressed like Martha Kent when he's doing that!
