Who was better? The Flash, Cyborg, Green Arrow or Aquaman [Archive]

Green Arrow is having a bigger impact show-wise, and I think is going to be the final push clark needs to get himself together to take on being superman....well eventually superman....but you get waht I mean.
Anyhoo I voted GA....but I <3 Flash....can't wait for him to come back

I didn't like the whole plot for Aquman. Cyborg was too teenage-ish (love story, etc), and Flash, well, as someone else said in another thread, it was a high school type episode.

Green Arrow by far is the best one, and it also helps that its not a one and done deal.

I think the biggest reason why Green Arrow tops my list is the interraction between him and Clark. Clark and Bart, AC, and Victor all made tongue in cheek references to their futures and the Justice League, but then the next episode it was in the past. It looks like the interraction between these two is more real than just a weekly ratings boost, and will possibly lead to some developments in Clark's attitude for which we have been waiting for a very long time.

I liked the GA because he was more of a help in developing Clark's character than any of the others. The episode was less of a do it and forget it episode than the others, and they took the time to introduce Oliver Queen before the GA ep. A lot more thought, and a lot better storyline than the others IMO also.

Green Arrow is the coolest and most complex of these characters. The Flash episode was also a lot of fun, and I like the Bart Character. Aquaman sucked.

Green Arrow. If only because he's the finished product... the others were in various stages of development. The closest to GA that we've seen on the show thus far was Angel of Vengence... So yeah. GA.

I am really looking forward to seeing all these guys in the same frame though. I wonder what will happen to me. Probably lots of giggling... A little melting... LOL!

I agree! I LOVE that he's actually... the GA! He's not the "kid who is to become the GA someday... when the angst stops" or whatnot, he's already who he is going to be! I mean, just how set he was in his beliefs/goals/purpose ("the ends always justify the means")! I think it even made Clark grudginly respect him, even if he didn't agree with him, which really makes Clark think more about who he wants to be. I like that Ollie is mature yet still disgustingly cocky! Love, love, LOVE him!!!:D

GA is the best by far!! This superhero episode was better than the rest since Clark didnt have to save the hero this time!! imo thats what killed the rest of the superhero intros in comparison to GA's!!

i say the flash, reason being... he is the only one on there with a super power. GA has no power, aqua man has a sucky power as it only works under water, cyborg is just half robot so he isnt special powerd, and well... flash takes the lead with clark

I didn't like Aquaman (the actor kind of ruined it for me), but I liked all the others. However, I think Green Arrow is best, followed by the Flash. I probably would have liked Cyborg a lot better had I seen more of him.

The kid Flash was great but Green Arrow is by far the most mature hero so far. He isn't a future hero, he is already a confident man with a plan. I really liked the character more than I expected to.

I was very pessimistic about the green arrow charachter before the season started, but I really like what they have done with him. He's teaching Clark about the real world and pushing him to finally becoming superman.

GA hands down, I like how he is getting Clark to think about other issues and not only his friends and loved ones. However, after watching tonight you get a really good ideal of the leader that Clark will come. Even the GA can see it, great show tonight.

Flash and Green Arrow are so close.
Flash showed Clark that his abilities were gifts and that he should use them more often. Green Arrow showed Clark that others in the world need people like them.

I think the Green Arrow is the best out of all of the guest superheroes. He knows what he wants and he tries to do the right thing. He's unique in that he is rich, yet hasn't been corupted by his money. Instead he uses his resources for good (opposite of Lex). What also helps me like him more is that we get to see the development of his character over a longer period of time, while all the others came and went in a single episode.

My second favorite would have to be Aquaman. He also stood up for what he believed in and did the right thing - a real hero. I don't understand everyone's love of the Flash. The Flash was represented as just too much of a misguided kid, who was also a thief. Let's hope he grows up and comes back to the show. And Cyborg, while interesting, was too bland of a character in my opinion. He has some cool abilities and was a good guy, but I wouldn't think of him as that much of a superhero really.

MY OPINION!!

Flash was an annoying, stuck-up little juvenile delinquent. Cool power and he got better towards the end of the episode (which was a good one), but he got on my nerves.

Aquaman had too many muscles for his own good :)and was a little too gung ho for my taste.

Cyborg was awesome, but since he wasn't in more than one episode I really couldn't get that attached to him.

I absolutly love Green Arrow. I think he's an awesome charactor and he's really grown on me. Oh I will state for the record, I LIKE HIS COSTUME!! :)

I liked Flash. I hope we get to see the real Flash (Barry Allen since Garrick would be much older than Clark) since Bart is really supposed to be Impulse/Kid Flash.

I liked Cyborg as well. Green Arrow is also pretty cool so far. But the Flash is my favorite. I think the best would be Batman, but if that happens, TPTB will have to be ready for a spin-off, because I'm sure it would draw a lot of interest. The amount of storylines can be endless. I would love to see Jason Todd (they would have to introduce him early like Jimmy Olsen was in SV) and the Joker's beginnings as the Red Hood. I would even like to see Bruce become Batman on the show and have it continue through his Batman years. It would be cool if they do an episode or 2 based on the Venom storyline from the Legend of the Dark Knight books where Batman was a junkie on the drugs that later on created Bane. I think such a show would do a much better job with the Scarecrow than the last movie did.

Green Arrow wins by a very small margin against the Flash. It was nice to see Clark being around someone he could relate to, and the Flash and Superman both have super-speed.

I really liked Cyborg as well--great actor as Victor. Aquaman has been my only disappointment. It wasn't just the actor--it was the dialogue, and overall, Aquaman just isn't that great of a character, IMO.

So, GA wins with Flash a close second.

The Flash has always been my favorite superhero after Supes. However, as much as I like Kyle (he was excellent on VM), Hartley is doing too fine a job. Also, his character is fleshed out a bit more.

Of all the other JLA episode types on Smallville - this weeks one was the best. My ordering is as follows:

1) Arrow
2) Cyborg
3) Run
4) Aqua

This episode was the most complete of them all - and I really hope they develop it more.

I say definitely Green Arrow because of all his awesome gadgets, and maybe I'm in the minority but I LOVE the costume. Flash didn't do it for me... So the kid runs fast? Like we don't see that every single week with Clark. Aquaman would have been cool if played by someone other than AR. Cyborg was cool, but we didn't really get to see him much in action (like fighting bad guys or anything).

It's so close between Flash and Green Arrow, Flash was awsome loved his character. Green Arrow wins over because he's fresh in my mind on new eppys. I mean I can watch Flash on my S$ DVD but it's Green Arrow's is definately way more exciting.

I also happen to love GA costume. Cyborg and Aquaman just didn't really cut it for me.

Green Arrow gets my vote. There a lot of cool things about him. I'm not too fond of the hood portion of his costume, but his night-vision glasses are cool. His secret room behind the clock-wall is also cool. While not exactly the Bat cave, it sure beats Clark's barn sanctuary. LOL

Ollie's multi-function arrows are also cool! His motorcycle riding is so cool...loved how he came to a stop right in front of Clark! Last but not least, his sense of humor. :D

I agree that because of the recurring appearances this season that Green Arrow is going to have the most impact. I like how he is trying to get Clark to think "big picture" rather than the people in his small corner of the world. This has me waiting anxiously for the reunion of all of them in Justice to see where it goes from here.

I actually LIKE Aquaman. I was sorry he didn't get a longer story arc. They could have made it interesting. I thought he and Lois were cute together, even. Sure, Aquaman has a crappy power-set. But so does Flash. Oooh, he runs real fast. Nifty. And he's a bit of a tool. But so is Green Arrow.

My dislike for Green Arrow probably has to do with the spoilers I read for Reunion, as well as his behaviour in Sneeze.

Flash is ok, I guess. But he kinda got on my nerves.

And don't even get me started on Cyborg.

So... yeah. Yay Aquaman.

I liked both Flash and Green Arrow but Green Arrow was fully aware of who he was and his role in the world. The Flash was still a punk kid. As a charater on the show Green Arrow was the best exicuted of the list we voted on.

Nah Aquaman came off to me as any other enviornmentalist wacko. His character seemed rushed. I did catch the pilot of his TV show. Too bad it wasn't picked up. Looked like a good show.

green arrow is new and he has the costume, the gadgets, money, and a hot girlfriend named lois......but he's not number one, and imo shouldn't be.

i loved arrow, it was a great episode, and clark is moving closer and closer towards donning the cape.......BUT

the flash has been the best character, it's always fun when clark lightens up and uses his powers for fun, cuz after all, wouldn't we all do the same thing?? plus clark acts more like superman by teaching bart the error of his ways, and he earns bart's trust and respect. that episode is an all-time favorite.

i didn't know much about cyborg, i liked the actor, and the episode was pretty good, so all in all, liked it.

aquaman's episode sucked, i didn't like the actor or the plot and dialogue.

so my list goes...

1. Flash
2. Green Arrow
3. Cyborg
4. Aquaman

*SPOILER WARNING*

luckily they're all coming back for an episode together later this season and that will be the episode to watch!!!
can't wait for justice!!!!!

Green Arrow without a doubt.

He's the ONLY fully fleshed out Superhero we've had on this show.

The Angel of Vengeance had severe issues.
The Kid Flash was just that, a teenager who still hadn't taken on his role.
Cyborg was a very angsty young man who saw himself as a curse.
Aquaman was started on the right track but had yet to grasp the right way to go about things.

Green Arrow is going to bring the other future heroes into the future as REAL heroes. That is saying something.

He wins by a landslide.

I don't know if you saw the unaired version of The Aquaman Pilot or not, but the Actor who is now playing Green Arrow, was Aquaman in it. I like him better as Green Arrow in Smallville and the Original AC as Aquaman from Season 5's Aqua. Both kick ass, and my Teenaged daughters adore them LOL

I don't think it's really a fair contest, since Green Arrow had virtually a whole season, whereas the others only had 2 episodes. Green Arrow for pure amount of story, The Flash for coolness and Cyborg for Special FX.
