Lois and Oliver were wonderful to watch together.

I like how similar they are. Kinda cocky... tell it like it is... they enjoy each other. He really doesn't let Lois get away with things the way others do. And Oliver calls Clark on things in the same way that Lois does. I like that they are not just all over each other... they hang out. They are friends. They get each other.

You're right about the honesty issues... LOL! But somehow... not angsty at all.

All in all not an adolescent relationship. :) I'm enjoying them. Immensely!

I, too, like that the honesty issues give them a touch of angst, but realistic angst.. not Clana or Lexana angst (oh god, if anyone treated me like those three have treated each other, I'd have killed someone, be it myself or my SO at the time o.O). I mean, Clark seems more concerned with the honesty issue and Ollie just sort of shrugs it off as though he sees what Clark means, but has his own views on it. And I LOVE that he calls Clark out on his martyr complex! It helps that Ollie seems developed... not just developing. All the other characters in this show are struggling so bloody hard to find themselves that their relationships tend to be rollercoasters... but Ollie knows who he is and what he wants and lives by his own code, which as ginnyfan said... reminds me greatly of Lois.

She too is always herself. I think some people have issues with the fact that she isn't "progressing" or whatever, but I think she is and yet she's staying true to herself. Much like Ollie. He realized that Clark may have a point and gave back Martha's necklace. It didn't mean he underwent some HUGE life-changing moment (which everything tends to be on the show) and learned the error of his ways, but more that he did it out of respect for Clark.

I like how stubborn these two characters are and how they are friends first, and I mean real friends. Not, mopey, pinning, stalkery friends who eventually have a relationship, but stable "I respect you, you respect me" friends... much the way the future Clois relationship should be (and I don't necessarily mean SV's Clois... I mean Superman the mythos Clois. :))

I loved Lois in the opening scene...she looked so classy and elegant with the black dress and pearls. :)

I understand her not really trusting him in this episode but I was kinda wondering if she knew about him stealing for a good cause thing. She thought he was so bad at the end I kinda felt bad for Ollie.

I like it! I think they're cute together and he's a nice little sidetrack until Clark gets his head in the game.

Oh, and can someone answer me something? Last time I checked (last week) Lois and Olliver had gone on one date right? One. And a fairly coerced one if I remember correctly. Unless I missed something in the first few minutes which my friends TiVo didn't record, since when does a single date lead to a weekend on a tropical island? I mean, I love weekends on the beach with a kajillionaire as much as the next person, but does that seem a little... fast?

...or am i just being old-fasioned? :)

I don't think she was swooning over the guy just the opposite. She probably thought the gadgets were impressive but I thought she didn't think much of him in the scene when Oliver was defending GA, she didn't seem to agree.
