So does anyone think they missed out by not making this week's villain Poison Ivy? I realize she is traditionally associated with Batman but DCU is DCU anyway I'm just curious as too what the rest of you thought.

My wife who isn't a comics fan at all, but recognized Poison Ivy from the Batman movie she was in.

I half expected her, when Clark asked her name, to say "Pamela". As either an in-joke or a flat out steal.
I was sitting there going "ok, WHY is Clark fighting Poison Ivy?"
Sheesh!

My ex was sitting in the same room when I watched the episode and noticed the whole plant thing and immediately asked me if it was Poison Ivy.

It definitely would have been better.

The crazy thing about this episode is that from the previews I thought it was supposed to be about the Green Arrow? Go figure.

Before she revealed herself as being from "Plantopia" I thought she was Poison Ivy and she got her powers from Lex's Green House..............

Having her turn out to be Poison Ivy would've been pretty cool, but I guess they figured it'd be too cliche!
BTW, I thought I'd mention this interesting piece of trivia: John Glover was the mad scientist in Batman and Robin who created Bane right before throwing Dr. Isley (as played by Uma Thurman) into the vat of chemicals that turned her into PI!

The villain reminded me of Poison Ivy.
Yeah--I didn't get this either... They could have come up with something a little more original...
