Does anyone else feel like Smallville is revolving around everyone BUT Clark right now?

Everyone has their own storylines, except for him. This whole lonliness/guilt crap is old news. We've had that storyline of his for 6 seasons now.

Martha's talk with him sounded so redundent and forced it made me laugh. We've heard it all before . . . Clark is lonely and keeps screwing up his life, and everyone elses, and somehow this will make him a better person.

Okay ....... ummmmm, STILL waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When exactly does he learn from his mistakes? WHEN exactly do we get to see Clark have a purpose on the show besides moping around and trying to make us feel bad for him?

We know he has superpowers . . . we know he saves people every week. I just don't feel like the show is about him anymore. It feels like a soap opera, where Tom Welling is just an ensemble cast member, with a small part in the show.

I think TPTB are trying to set it up so we know Clark is completely alone in the world he is the only one without a girl/boyfriend and he doesn't really feel like there's anyone there for him.
Although I believe the writers do need to give him more of a storyline instead of giving it all to the co-stars. o well I guess there's nothing we can do about it.

I couldn't agree with both of you more. You both hit it on the mark. This isn't a superman, this is a child who needs to learn how to become a man. Go save people or something. Try to make some new friends because the ones you have have there own lives without you in them.

i couldn't agree more the entire episode was basicaly a lexana/lollie/chimmey love fest with clark mooping around looking for the world like a little boy who's dog just got shot. this season could tptb pleas try and be alittle more orginal stop making clark so needy and broodish, it's very un supermanly (yes i know clark isn't superman yet but at the rate he's going he never will be).
