Yeah, eh? LOL. Heat Vision shouldn't be that big of a deal for her, she did come from Krypton afterall. She's been here long enough to know our yellow sun effects them in strange ways.
What bothered me was Clark blatenly using xray vision right in front of her before finding out she wasn't human. I guess its not that big of deal since it doesn't emit any kind of beam like heat vision, lol. But he glances around and just happens to find that kid that was clearly hidden very well under the plant? Too easy of a find from where he was at.

yea, i noticed the whole x-ray thing too. I don't know but i just feel like the writers are getting lazy. Or they think we are really dumb. Pick one. I mean he's going to be superman, he needs to be more protective than that.

The plant lady was not from Krypton she was a fugitive from her own planet with lush green vegatation so she would have no idea that the sun does that to him.

And even if she is from Krypton... the Kryptonians wouldn't have superpowers at their homeland.

But they would've known about the effect a yellow sun has on them, what with their visiting of Earth for centuries.

ya she wasnt from krypton she was from another planet that was filled with nature stuff until they decided to start building houses and stuff and tearing down the forests and she was thrown in the phantom zone for stopping them. atleast thats what i got from the episode. wasnt brainiac in the comics from a planet that loved nature. wonder if her and brainiac are from the same planet.

Well this Smallville's Brainiac isn't. Milton Fine said he wasn't Kryptonian, but he was created by them. Which says to me that he is from Krypton (Albeit a robot).
