Nay for filler episodes.

I want Smallville to start pumping out GOOD episodes like Zod and some S5.

Sneeze was decent but this one just....wasn't one of my favorites. Clark didn't play around with superbreath some more, and the 'climactic battle' between him and the plant girl was lame.

Plus, no Lionel? Have the producers lost their minds? An appearance by him might have made this episode watchable.

Good thing Supernatural was good tonight. Episodes like this one, I can clearly see why I'm liking it better than Smallville these days. (although both on Thursdays = OWNAGE)

I agree w/ you. Lionel adds depth to a show focusing a little too much on other, less important characters. John Glover is great.

Yea, Lionel is definitely an entertaining character to watch. He should definitely be in more episodes.

Oh, I forgot to mention..

About the only scenes I did enjoy tonight were the ones with Arrow. Nailing the tab off the can was great...

i know...Lionel adds so much more depth to the show. John Glover is a great actor. and basically any episode with Lionel is guaranteed to be good! ughhh where was he???

...I doubt it, but maybe - just maybe JG/Lionel could have saved this episode from becoming the desaster it turned into...

I was just thinking it would've been cool to end with something with Lionel after not seeing him throughout the episode...something mysterious that leaves you wondering what his true motives are...like what if one of his goons came to him with a DVD and said, "Here it is, Mr. Luthor," and Lionel said, "Thank you," and the guy said, "But, Mr. Luthor, uh...this is kinda weird. What would you want a DVD of THIS for?" and Lionel chuckles and replies, "After all these years you've been a protegee, have I taught you nothing? Leverage...it's always the most powerful tool one can acquire." And the guard kinda nods, looks a little bit scared of whatever's on the DVD, and walks off. Lionel pops the DVD in and as he's watching says, with a grin on his face, "And oh, what leverage this." And then it ends.

At first I was thinking it'd be cool if it was a DVD of Lana and Lex having sex, and so it seems like Lionel will blackmail one of them with the footage, but it might be even cooler if it didn't even reveal what was on the DVD.

Anyway, kind of a random idea. Thought it might've been a good saving grace to an otherwise angsty episode. It wasn't a bad episode, just didn't have enough really cool stuff in it to be one of my favorites. The scenes with Green Arrow and the scene with Lex Vs. Clark were great though. If Lionel were in it, it would've been that much better.

I dont think lionel is quite a pervert but it would have been better for him to walk in on Lana and lex about to shag for lanas sake to break it up...

i was hoping he was going to walk in on lex and lana and say "Honestly son you have a bedroom use it!"

I just glad that JG didn't have to be associated with this episode. It was worthy of a credit delete. Hopefully they are saving him for something worthy of his talent.

(although both on Thursdays = OWNAGE) They need to do the good episodes early so rating will stay up or they could face getting canceled before episode 22. :(
