"Kryptonians. Always so hard and cold."
This is what ZOTW (Zoner of the Week) Gloria says to Clark but I've actually been thinking about this for a while. Lots of people seemed to think that Jor-el and Kal-el were pretty evil whenever they were around on Smallville...
But I've just been thinking that they were rather like Vulcans from Star Trek. They don't readily express emotion... or at least not in the same way. They feel emotion but they are generally cold and logical. Especially when I think about the last things Jor-el said to Martha...
I really enjoyed Gloria's alien perspective...
Even in the films... Jor-el and Lara... were quite cold. You'd never have guessed that their planet was about to blow up and they were sending their baby across space for all of the facial expression they showed...
Perhaps this is very obvious... but... I think it's interesting. :)
Well of the 6 that came out of the Zone with Clark 5 more. lol. 5 more Zone of the week Episodes.

This could be true, however we did see him get sucked into the crystal. I am a little curious to see if Jor-El is now in Lex. When Lex/Zod was holding the crystal, he looked at it and said Jor-El. Maybe the reason Jor-El isnt in the Fortress anymore is because hes in Lex.

Now, if she had said that all Kryptonians are hard and hot, we would have a whole other ballgame.

I like the comparison of vulcans to kryptonians. If that really is Jor-El that clark is always talking to, I would like them to tie up the lose end of kara clark's cousin (or the woman who said she was kara). I mean didn't she get burned up?

^Wow... that's interesting... Perhaps it was similar to Zod and Plant psycho Gloria... that Kara's essence went into the mummified human girl? Or something?

The dagger that Jor-El gave to Clark was a part of the fortress. Plunging it into Brainiac has infected the fortress with some sort of a virus created by Zod and compromised the integrity of the fortress, opening a gateway for Zod. Then, Lex/Zod broke the dagger, probably damaging the fortress even more seriously than it already was. I think that the episode in which Raya returns will be pivotal to the "resurrection" of the fortress.

Kryptonians were just trying to prove justice when they put Gloria in the PZ. She prob tried to take over her homeplanet or something...

It wasn't the Kryptonians who put Gloria in the Phantom Zone. It was the people of her homeworld... maybe a different type of alien than her... Maybe not...

Maybe Krypton took responsibility for protecting all of the 28 planets from harm. Maybe when they found someone too dangerous to stay on that planet, they took it upon themselves to send them to the PZ.

But she was sent into the Phantom Zone when her world, originally a green world, built more metal structures and neglected the green areas so that they began to diminish... It didn't have anything to do with Kryptonians. Jor-el invented/discovered the Phantom Zone... but I don't think every planet had to go through Krypton to send their criminals there.
