I wasnt able to watch this episode, but i read somewhere and people had been talking about it on this site, that superman history would be rewritten in this episode. Was it?

i guess that was suppose to be it *shudders* if it goes to term (which it most likely wont) then that will be major re-writing.

If baby happens there will be some freak or alien element attached to it that won't allow it to be around for very long. More Lana tragedy. Sigh. I don't like her, but she's so damaged.

Now that im thinking about it....it wont be MAJOR rewriting. I mean in the comics lana marries pete. And pete is vice president in the luthor administration. So if lana and lex stay together and have Lena, i can buy it.........

Well Lexana got "physical" and if a certain rumor turns out to be true, that would definately rewrite Superman history.

If TPTB do go down the "bambino" path, they really ought to think about renaming this show.

agreed, all the soapy romance is getting to me :(. I suppose the so called 'VILLIAN' has to have a storyline too. I just wish it had more to do with evilness than bedding his former best friends girl.
(I really dont get why they have such loooong break,RedPhoenix23! It kills me! I am crying over the cancelation of SG1- it was my first love :p )

The soap opera thing is annoying. But I'm really liking Clark's side of the story. No romance. No women. Just being alone and dealing with villians.
I must be the only one more interested in Clark's Phantom Zone situation than the whole soap opera romance thing.

Aww, I don't think it was too soapy. It was a good character eppy and is setting everything up for the future eps quite well.
Lois falling for hero's with dual identies, Chloe finally moving on from her full out Clark worship, Clex hating eachother, Oliver getting closer to the Kents for two reasons (well spoilers, so can't explain that, lol), Lex talking to a flunkie sceintist about something - most likely the ships hardrive, Clark having to deal with an escaped prisoner from the Phantom Zone.
(lol, I just remembered it's not an Atlantis avatar, it's from SG-1! Ack, it's on hiatus for Battlestar Galatica AKA the most drama filled hour on television. )

Well, there is a 'tad' too much focus on romance. Lois seems to be falling for every male JL member (ok, so its only been aquaman and GA, but it FEELS like more :p)
I suppost the chloe deal is good but still, its the whole romance thing :(, with an important superman character who has no other purpose than to be her romantic interest. *cries*
Clex hate is good, but its like, the friendship has been over a million times, can we make it stick for once! :D
I will make judgments on the phantom zoner AKA Bob - some other time.
ah, enough of my complaining! This season will probably be awesome once we get past the pregnancy storyline *gag* IF we can get past the pregnancy storyline! At least clark is suppose to be single and jealous but focusing on more important matters(you are not alone, Son of Kal!) Cant wait for the '07 episode that promises to give me all i want and more :D
(I havent seen this episode of stargate. Hmm, i havent been watching since Richard Dean Anderson left though. :) )

Well, Lois HAS to date Oliver, lol, she'll have no purpose otherwise except to hog up screentime away from other characters. With GA she's her own person and less annoying and we really needed this ep to set that up for the future GA/Lois stuff. Besides, it was nice to see Olliver give her hell when she came to apologize, lol. Keep it up GA and might be able to forgive that damn "inflatable doll" comment.
Chimmy is too cute for words and since we all know Jimmy is a good guy and is good freinds with Clark in the future it makes Chimmy all the more enjoyable since there is no worry of "Is or isn't he evil? Is he using Chloe?" It also freshens up the Chlark investigating because it looks like Jimmy will want to investigate with them.
And Lexana... That's a looong time coming, lol. They didn't seem to take up too much screentime to me anyways, but don't mind me because I am utterly and completely biased. Hey! At least I admit it. The ep also was able to show Lana fighting the bit on the whole paparazzi "The Next Lex Girl" issue and was nice to highlight Lana's trust issues and how she has hard time seeing the trouble she's in until its too late.
Great episode overall, not too actioney but as a spoiler ho - just trust me there is some good JLA coming that will likely be hella action packed. It was a necassary eppy to connect all the dots. :)
(That's too bad, it was a great crossover ep with Atlantis. I believe the name was "The Pegasus Project" but I could be wrong. LOL, I am not so quick with the SG titles as I am with the Smallville ones. )

Well, i guess I'm the second person then. I'd much rather see Clark get supermanish than well...sad, heartbroken boy.

I agree drop all the immature soap storylines and tactics like the triangles, baby, and excessive guest apperances.
And get back to forwarding the Superman mythos without dumping on Clark and elivating Lex in every episode as the writers have been doing since what seems like forever now.
You know what is sad. I have been a pretty good fan of this sereis. I have caught almost every episode of the show since it first came on. And for the first time when Smallville came on last week (and this week as well) I did't care that it was on. Infact I just skipped over it and went on to watching something else these last two weeks. I opted just to find out what happend on these boards instead. Hopefully the writers will get their heads out of their butts and finally start making some good episodes again becuase as it is now I just don't care about the story they are trying to tell anymore.

Sigh.
Sometimes I wonder how Joss Whedon would have handled a show like this. Clark would have all his powers, plus flying. He would embrace his powers and accepted his destiny after season 3. Lex would be a bad ass mofo by this time.
Sigh.
