Clark lied to Lana for so long. Lex lied to Lana for so long.
But the difference between the two is mind boggling. Clark lied for all the right reasons (or so he thought), but he was such a bad awful liar he managed only to hurt, anger and drive Lana away.
Lex on the the other hand is such a superb liar, that all he needed is elements of the truth. These elements keep her
off balance and his mastery of manipulation has got Lana to the point that she is convinced she is her own worst enemy.
So, how much actual fault can be placed on Lanas reactions?
