I really enjoyed Lollie... even more than I expected to. I loved how arrogant he was when Lois came to apologize and how difficult it was for her to make the attempt at an apology.

I loved his moment of vulnerablity when he mentioned his parents. That really made Lois soften up on him. I loved the swashbuckling attempt at a kiss... and the very Robin and Marion challenge... how could they resist... It was all very lovely. :D

I thought that scene was cute,they looked nice together the whole episode.Seems like the relationship has potential plus I dont think his secret identity won't play a part unless clark tells her.I see him bein able to pull it off or even if she knows exceptin him,like she did wit ac sayin she didn't kno too many tryin to save the world.But the buildup to their relationship was nice tho I enjoyed it(I'm a lois fan jus not a cloiser on sv).And Justin doesn't seem bad,seems like he'll bring sumthin to tha table,will be more interestin next week tho.And him missin that can I saw it comin,he knew what he was doin.And I think she's attracted to him more now that they've spent alil time together.

Well he already sort of strong armed her into their date. I thought it was chivelrous of him. Lois loves to win... LOL! So it was a way to let her win... without really letting her win...

My sister went even deeper and drew a parallel between the dunk tank scene from Facade... Oliver doesn't hit Lois' target. I know it's a stretch but I like it. :)

I am a die hard Cloiser but from day one, I was looking forward to Lollie, why?

- OQ is very handsome, hot, rich and wonderful, Lois totally deserves to be with someone so great.

- Al Gough said this somewhere too that they have done a parallel to future Lois and Clark by showing this.. totally true!! The irony of OQ having two identities is a wonderful parallel to Clark/Lois/Superman in the future.

- Lois is always sooo Lois... whether it is with a simple farmboy or a billionare.. she is so hard to impress isn't she.. that is Lois Lane for you..

- TW/ED chemistry is still the number one on the show, they have developed a wonderful work chemistry in such a short time that it is unbelievable, but ED/JH is amazing too.. Reasons why ED is so damn good, she develops wonderful chemistry with everyone.

- Finally, Clark will develop feelings for Lois because of Lollie.. so Lollie is very precious to me.

- Erica looks stunning in the costume and all other scenes and so does JH.. so two beautiful and perfect people make a lovely couple..

- The most wonderful thing about this affair is the irony of it. Lois is living in the same house with her future husband and yet is dating other people.. don't knowing at all that her "Jonathan" is right here in front of her..

So Lollie works fine for me.. because Clark and Lois have their happy ending already written.. it only makes the journey more interesting..

PS: And now we finally know now why Chloe is jealous of Lois.. well if my boyfriend is a struggling photographer while my cousin is dating the hottest billionare in town.. I'll sure as hell be jealous of her.. :lol:

I always tried to be careful about the jealousy issue. I think I saw something in 'Zod', but wasn't sure what it was. Today I have to say: it looks like Jimmy is going to be the jealous one ('my girl'), while Clark...well, who really knows what Clark is gonna do/feel? For a moment it almost looked as if he would fall for the park ranger/alien!?! With this kind of writers, simply everything is possible...and we'll be watching, I guess.

Didn't one spoiler say he tried to dance with the park ranger girl at the dance. I hope they don't waste space and have that cut scene on the DVD (if it was even filmed). There was also a photo in TV Guide, I think, that had Clark talking to Martha at the party, but that was cut also I think.

I have fallen onto the good ship Lollie too... I am satisfied in the knowledge that Lois will end up with Clark in the end, so her little side trip doesn't really bother me. I loved the way they were together, especially at the end when Lois wouldn't give into him. She is definately the sort that has to make the first move, first she chides A.C. when he kisses her first, and now Ollie has to prove himself. I like it.

Yes there was a party scene with Clark, I saw in the making too. But I guess it got deleted. I think may be they wanted to show Arrow as the first episode where Clark sees Lois with Oliver.

Its okay for the time being but I really want to see some real progress towards Clark and Lois by the end of the season. Not them hooking up but at least them realizing that they might both have feelings for each other that aren't on the "just friends" level.

Since this year or next year could be the last seasons I think its time they started moving Clark and Lois to the places they'll be when Superman first comes onto the scene.

At least Ollie isn't a huge cocky dbag like Aquaman was.

I'm IN LOVE with Lollie. Their dialogue is awesome. Lois' dialogue so far this year is much improved. They are both stubborn as hell and arrogant. Man oh man was Oliver arrogant in that Clock Tower scene! He figured on her going ahead of time with him which is why he bought the Maid Marian gown. (quite obviously it wasn't something he just got a hold of last minute since it was in a gift box with a cute little white bow) J

I was spoiled at their first meeting by watching it on CW ahead of time, but still loved it. AWESTRUCK! I knew when I watched it that Lois was going to make it up to Martha and she did. (Totally loved the little "Sooo. . . " look Martha gave Lois at the Masquerade Benefit and the returning sly smile form Lois when Oliver expressed how 'persuasive' she was.

The teasing commentary between them about their slightly revealing costumes was great fun as well.

My twelve year old niece who HATES romance even said "OMG! Aunt Val, that is the sweetest thing ever!" When he aimed at the can at Lois' behest. I'm likened to agree. That was uber romantic. Though he didn't really miss, I enjoyed him letting Lois think she won. With people like Oliver and Lois it's always a treat to see their softer side.

"The lady requires a show of SKILL before awarding you with her favor."

"I thought that was what I was doing with the kiss."

That was so AWESOME!

I like Lollie I think they have good chemistry. I love the banter I think they are both good for each other becuase of them being sarcastic and arrogant. They can hold up to each other. I thought the Clocktower scene was wicked funny. Olliver was so messing with her. He liked her the moment he saw her at the farmhouse and knew she would try to make it up to him. He knew she would come and got her the dress. I also loved the scene with the can, I thought the showing of skill with the kiss from Ollie was funny and then I thought it was great that he let her win. He was being cocky at the same time he was being sweet. It showed he was crazy skilled but was letting her go to be a bigger man. I also thought his car was pretty cool. Lex has cool cars but the one Ollie had was a arrogant sports car that I would expect from Ollie and it was a cool one. I wonder how much one of those cost?

I'm a Lois fan but unfortunately I just don't like Oliver at all. JH's acting is flat and mediocre and his character so far has rubbed me the wrong way...so I'm really looking forward to them breaking up (even though technically they aren't even dating yet) :p

I never thought I would say this, but after 3 episodes, I have to say that I enjoy watching the Lois/GA storyline the most. Despite the shortcomings of both actors (sorry, yeah - yeah, I know...). Must be because the other 2 triangles they keep torturing us with are even worse...

That's a good question. I feel that by knowing the final outcome of a story, especially in terms of romance, the suspense and anticipation is ruined. The hope is gone. When I don't know what's going to happen, not only can I enjoy the moments, there's the optimism of how far the romance can go. Meh. I'm a goal oriented person. An arrow is useless, until it hits something.

I'm just not into romance simply for the sake of romance. The only time I'm okay with short-term and/or doomed romance is if the romance is pivotal in the overall storyline or as a significant milestone in a main character's development. Otherwise, I feel that the romance is a waste of valuable story time.

If unlike Lois' romance with AC, Lollie turns out to have significant long-term implications to the Smallville series then I might bother to have an opinion of the temporary union. Right now, I'm neither for nor against the relationship.

I think that the relationship is good.

It's going to twist Oliver's character around a little, and Lois's. Because Oliver has to be the boyfriend, the robinhood, and the rich billionaire all at once. And I wonder if he can pull it off. And Lois is already helping out Martha, and being a journalist and being his girlfriend.

And I think it's a light and fun relationship. I hope to see more

We are really way past canon, no need to requested only on a couple, after all the modifications an early Clois would be nothing.

Why do they have to have Lois passed around the other JLA team to get to Clark!! That is what I hate. If you wanted to hook her up with someone fine, but why another future member of the JLA. If TPTB wanted to bring Green Arrow (cool) on board, they should have hooked up with Chloe and forgot about Jimmy!

I am not a Superman historian in any way shape or form, cause I love having Lex there on Smallville etc..I just don't like Lois having pasts with other members of JLA.

I just watched the Lollie scene with that song Ache and my heart just broke for them! Really, if you rewatch the scenes with them, its really amazing how perfect they seem to be together, at least now, even though this goes against my hardcore Clois feelings. As long as Clois happens sometime, I'll be happy. :)
