I was all Superman dressed today. I had the Superman shirt on as well as a long sleeved blue shirt, my Superman tie with the symbols all over it and a red vest--the cape. I also wore my Superman boxers(underneath my slacks) and Superman ballcap. Two of my co-workers realized the 'costume'. If my blood sugar was lower, I'm diabetic, I was going to go to the bar and have a toast for Christopher Reeve, "For this is the day that a Superman died."
i love u tom

I didn't realise that it have been two years, until I read this thread, but today i desided that I was going to wear my superman t-shirt for no real reason, well now I do have a reason!!!!

:( I had no idea it had already been 2 years!
Seems like it just happend. Just the other day my husband was showing me the new boxed set that is coming out with all the movies, and I had one of those "wow, he's really gone isn't he" moments.
Superman (as played by Reeves) was my hero when I was growing up. I used to run around the house singing the Superman theme with a towel around my neck (while my mom tried to get me to play with my dolls instead  )

His name is Christopher Reeve. George Reeves played Superman in the 1950s serials produced by MGM.
I'm really sick of everyone screwing that up.

I did my spinal injury homework on him, and I gave it in today. What a coincidence that it was two years from the day he died:( and now I know exactly what happened to him whcih makes it even worse:(

I didn't much care for the man, but he was the best movie Superman (so far).
I would have liked to see where he would be today if had he not had his accident.

I won't be on this weekend (babysitting) but I wanted to post here in this thread as this Saturday (the 10th of October) is the 5 year anniversary of the Death of Christopher Reeve.
Can't believe it's been 5 years since we lost Chris.
Still so missed, Chris. The world is a darker place without you.
RIP Superman.

I'm late too, but it's better late than never. Christopher Reeve was truly one of the extraordinary people of the world. He inspired many people, including me, his legacy will live far beyond his own generation. He really brought to life what it meant to be a hero, in reality and on-sreen. He will always be a Superman in my eyes. Rest in Peace CR, I hope I have the privilege of meeting you one day.
