Did anyone else notice that Lionel was talking awfully weird in the beginning of the episode. His first few words to Lex seemed oddly robotic and strange. Did anyone else notice this, or am I just grabbing for something that isn't there?

yeah i noticed it! in season 5's "vengeange" he talks like that, too, when hes thanking clark for saving him.. whats going on?

I'm not sure. Something to do with Jor-el maybe? Or maybe to do with that POWER thing he drew at the end of "ZOD"

I think it was attributed the anger behind his voice. He seemed pretty upset/angry with Lex during that scene.

your right..in the scene where lex asks lionel if he was having him followed lionel said in a very cool/southern type voice "if i were having you followed...son, you would never know it, i can guarentee you that". he said it in a way that made me think what a great actor he is and what range i bet he really has.i bet he has great acting chops
