They should call this the lex and lana show

Has anyone noticed that the only element of the series thats getting any real attention by the writers is lex and lana's relationship?, i mean an episode in which clark gets a cold? what the hell is this series coming to.
Thank god they didnt focus the whole episode in that crappy situation, not that the other parts where really all that entertaining, but seriously at season six and they're still coming up with off the shelf non creative ideas. A cold? :/

A big focus of this season is going to Lex, and part of Lex' life is Lana.

I agree, I am sick of Lana/Lex scenes. Its about Superman. So Lana chose Lex, big deal. Get over it. There are 3 billion women on the planet clark, pick one.

I appreciate those scene. Lex is a mature guy and maybe we will finally see a ''normal relationship'' between Lana and Lex. Come on guys relation between Clark and Lana was poor and didn't reflex reality. With Lexana I can see potential!

There's just nowhere to go with this relationship. Get to the point already, which I'm assuming is the breakup. I've said this before and I'll say it again, TPTB are weakening Lex's character so Lana stays with him. I'm not even sure Lex lying to Lana about his evil doings down the road this season will be that exciting to watch. We've seen it done for five years now with Clana, do something new for a change.

And no, this is not a real relationship between these two. Lex hiding who he really is from Lana is not a real relationship, it's Clana all over again. There's really nothing different between Clana and Lexana, other than the fact that Lex tells the truth and Clark lies, which boggles my mind given the fact that Lex is supposed to be the villain.

hopefully atfer Oliver comes in as Ga it'll tone down the lexana stuff cause ur right it is beginnin to get borin seein lexana.It startin to look like clana of last yr imo

They may as well call it the Lex and Lana show. Too much screen time of them. At least for me. I do not find them enjoyable to watch at all. The more they are are, the less eagerly I anticipate the next sxene or even the next episode. So sad for me.

...I think it was more like a transitional episode, where we are introduced to a lot of new situations (Lana moving in with Lex, the GA, potential Chlark later to be killed/threatened by Jimmy). But Lexana is doing surprisingly well, I think.

There actually was no real plot, yesterday.

Still loved it.

clark just inherited super breath! the cold was an awsome way of introducing the power. and lana is a huge part of clarks life and lex is an even bigger part of supermans story. lets just see where this goes.

So the boring Clana scenes have now been replaced with boring Lexana scenes. I'm not sure this is much of an improvement. I've never cared much for Clana but I think Lexana is even worse since it's made me completely bored with Lex (who used to be my top favorite character on this show), and it makes both Lex and Lana look like freaky, boring losers. Lexana is just Clana 2, only it's more messed up and boring than Clana ever was.

True, Lex was quite disappointing yesterday. Didn't occur to me that it might indeed me Lexana's fault.
I miss Lex's scenes with his evil dad...

I feel like that the writers don't want to let go of Lana, like they did with Pete when they felt his story was finished, but they really have no good use for her, so they are trying to invent anything. But, they are bringing down another great character to give this actress a job. Lex is getting rather immature. He used to be with older, more polished women. He is not going to be taken as a serious bad ass if he is dating a college sophmore

The story is abotu superman Not the many relationships of Lana Lang. Or The none existant relationships of Chloe Sullivan

What TPTB need to do is get rid of all of the relationships in the show. Because they are ruining it. And place there Focus on Clark. I rather see them end the series earlier as long as they have good Clark and Lex origin stories

I personally love any Lex scene, so I have nothing against the Lex & Lana story going on. I don't think they take up to much time in the show either, since Lex is currently the one character who needs to be developed most in the show. I mean Clark is already saving people and acting more and more hero for each episode, while Lex still needs to start...you know, the murdering people and stuff. He still has a long road ahead of him, and they need to prepare for that.

correct me if im wrong, but in a series of superman comics doesnt lana marry lex? and doesnt lana find out about clarks abilities and hides them from lex??

anyways, i dont like lex and lana together, but it keeps things interesting. i love this show.

Well they have to show the transition of Lana goign back to her old self. so they have to show the depth of Lexana, the highs and the lows, in order for us to like Lana again(somewhat) and hate lex even more. Besides they need to show the ruthless side of her so Clark can start hating her and finally get over her. 5-6 episodes dont really cut that. He still had the weird heartdrenchin' look when he saw Lana playing the piano, like he still cared. Asmuch as the scenes are boring between lex and lana, we need them and clark needs them to get over her.

lana and pete get married in the comics, lex is the president and pete ithink is the vice president. i hope they change it to lana being married to lex and pete totally outta the picture. because in "whatever happened to man of steel" comics, pete dies and he tells clarks secret to his enemies. so i dunno, but in that comic everyone dies, jimmy, lana and superman loses his powers for good :P

Well I disagree that Lexana is anything like the Clana loft scenes of secrets and lies that used to end most episodes. The Clana was okay in early season 5 when they were dating and doing different things with the characters. But most of the five years of Clana saw repetative dreary nonsense.


Lexana has not fallen into those same patterns from what I've seen. They have done something different to develop Lexana every episode since Fragile. Clana had the same conversations over and over and over again

And if Lexana ended, they would bring Clana back. Either that or some plot similar to Isobel and the stones
