Why Sneeze?

Maybe I missed it cuz I was doing hw at the same time, but I didn't hear a reason to why Clark actually got sick...that is, a good reason. I know it was a plot driver to introduce his new 'super breath' power, but it had to been more than just him exerting his energy overtime. I mean c'mon, that was more than just a common cold, this guy was on the super flu. There had to been a better reason...for SUPERMAN getting a cold. Give us a way better reason aye! I mean I could go with him mentally exhausting and dismantling himself, but that just means lowering him to a such a limit. I couldn't stick with that...


***in L & C show, there was an episode in which Mindy Church hired someone to mutate Kryptonian microbes in a lethal super-virus in the manner of Kryponite mold and airborne virus. This gave Clark a cold, and 'super flu'. I could take this, but to exhaust himself mentally, I just wasn't ready for..anybody else?

In the PZ he had no powers and he was in the proximity of other kryponians (and their bugs) and since he was exerting himself his immune system couldn't fight the cold he got in the PZ.

ya while clark was in the phantom zone he had no powers and caught something and when he was using his powers non stop cleaning up the mess zod caused and his powers were getting weak it aloud for the virus to come up on his system and made him sick.

Yeah . .its awesome how Superman can head over to the most deadly prison known to Kryptonians and can come back with a common cold (kryptonian side). (sarcasm).

Also. . would Clarks temperature be the same as humans?

ah yes i thought i heard that when i was half-as$ watching the show..it think it was more like a logical guess, but a weak one at that....

Again in L & C, when his mom put a thermometer in Clark's mouth when he was sick..he exploded and shattered lol. I am sure his body temperature would be alot higher than humans as the viruses in the Kryptonian form would be a lot harder to fight off.

Yep but by getting back his powers doesnt is suppose to immediatly heal? Like nomorescar when powers get back? (like a thousand times)lol

I was wondering why it didn't start a Krypto-epidemic. A Kryptonian virus would be "super-contagious".
The C.D.C. would have a hard time containing that one.
The one sneeze in the Daily Planet would have infected a lot of people, just thik if the super-germs got into the distrubition area.

Kyptonian virus from PZ would be super Virus on earth so a super cold in a superman.Like the fact that kryptonian metal can cut him.
