Cause Lana doesn't like Nell much, at least that's what I've got from all of Lana's ragging about her for years.

Lana could do lots, she could live on her own again, she could move back in with Chloe somewhere else, or she could just move in with Lois in the same manner she did as season 2 with Chloe.

At this point I don't think Nell matters, not to the writers, anyway. Personally, I could never understand why the writers had Lois stay with the Kents' and not Gabe and Chloe.

This should really be chalked up to weak story development, because parents outside of the Kents and Lionel, rarely matter on this show.

The writters put Lois with the Kents to push the Lois-Clark-Kents relationship but it's ture outside of the Kents and Luthors parents and other family members don't matter.

That's a very good question. Perhaps Lana is afraid of what Nell would see when she looked at her.

Said couch being located, of course, on the secret floor at Lexcorp where Lex keeps his freak collection.

(I know, they tried to wrap that up in Vengeance Chronicles, but it was weak).

yea like chloe dad gabe we havent seen him since a flashback in ep 2 of season 4. It would be nice if he was shown again. Oh well it is really up to the writers and they probably dont see a point to show chloe's dad.

Or at least have him mentioned. All they have to do is give us one line once in a while when needed instead of having characters fall of the end of the world.

First cause Chloe was dead, the next time she moved in with the Kents she specificaly said that Gabe and Chloe had a really small apartament.

Nell? Ohhh yeah, Nell. Um, I'm pretty sure Nell wouldn't let her stay. She has her own life now.

Nell let her stay with her after the nasty break up with Clark (when Lana saw him cheating on her in season 5), Lana also made refenece to spending christmas at Nells. I really doubt Nell would be so cold as to tell Lana "no you can't stay with me" when lana's home has been destoried.

SV rarely makes sense, but when it comes to Lana's character development, it gets really strange. Nell most likely got divorced and got married to Henry Small, another Lana-related character who got dropped for no obvious reason. Oh, wait - this would make Nell Lana's step-mum. Hehe...

We know why.....Lexana has to happen. I found it dissatisfying that uni was closed for the semester b/c of 'Dark Thursday' and that was that. There are other colleges she could have gone to in the interim to pursue studies unless we are to believe ALL unis across the US are closed for a semester. Lana's character lacks ambition and follow through.

Hmm... Then I don't know why she wouldn't stay with Nell. Maybe she didn't want to inconvenience her when Lex has so much free space...

Prolly a young adult thing. The last thing most young adults want to do, after moving out on their own, is move back in with parents or other relatives. Lana is been without her relative since season 2, she prolly wouldn't want to go back. Least that is what I think.

I still think she could have easily gotten her own place. Money has never seemed to be a big deal with her and I'm sure Lex would help her out (again) with a great deal on apartment. But again Lana foolishly sets everythign up around a guy.
