Its like he never was in the first episode. They could have least had CLark ask wheres Jimmy at today.

Clark doesnt know him and Chloe recently met him again. I dont think they are close enough to wonder where Jimmy is.

I think Chloe and Jimmy should've gone to fly a kite :)

I was wondering if things were going to get romantic with Clark and Chloe for some reason...that "lets go to the lake" scene at the end didnt help change my mind either.
I hope Jimmy goes out with Chloe and in a life threatening situation, Jimmy leaves Chloe behind and she beaks up with him...:D that would be kool

My sister brought up something really interesting. That it will be better for Chloe to discover that Clark is not the guy for her rather than just running off for the first guy who shows her a little attention.
That despite her choice to just be friends with Clark... She can't just turn her feelings off. But there were signs that the sidekick think is starting to wear thin. She sort of rebukes Clark for just demanding that she hack into everything... telling him how hard it is... He's not listening. Then when she wants to go along he just leaves her...
I dunno.

I wonder if Chloe gets the Superman Signal Watch.

I figured it was a bit of that awkwardness AM talked about as to why they bump heads a few times tonight, but not a big deal.Ur right in order to be believable she'll have to realize clark isn't for her cause u can't turn those feelings off.Thats why I doubt she'll move on,she may try but I dont see it lastin til the series ends.Even if chlark doesn't get together, but if tptb keep things up it just may.As for the hackin part she was the one who went straight to the cpu and made the statement so clark didn't ask as usual can u hack in.So I dont hold that against their sidekick role

Interesting, I have to watch it again as this didn't occur to me.
Generally, I think 'sneeze' was too much like the end of S5. Like a step backwards. Too much sidekick and Chloe/Clark duo. Not that I don't like it, hell no. I loved every little Chlarky bit. But how is Jimmy gonna get in between those two, now? Hard to imagine after yesterday. Especially due to the END of the episode, which was almost openly romantic to me. I was almost shocked, as I didn't dare to hope for something even close to that...

well that could be because they plan on settin up a potential triangle between the 3,thats how I see jimmy bein factor in.Or atleast how I see it,when jimmy isn't in the episode I see more chlark interaction like sneeze and when he is more like Zod.I see them buildup up a triangle between the 3 but nothin as angst as clexnana was

i didn't find the talk about hacking a budding head moment..i found it kinda funny, how she was just rambling on about hacking and hes not even listening..lol....and about him leaving..it was funny cause when i was watching it i was like "man, i would be mad"...but..she wasn't at all, so that didn't seem like budding heads either.
and your right, she can't just turn off her feelings, but she did a pretty good of hiding them last season except for a few times like when clark was talking about losing lana. but imo she can't get rid of them but she can hide them, and thats really all that matters cuase Clark is clueless lol

That wasn't butting heads at all. I actually took that as a sign from TPTB that they hear all the complaints from fans about how unrealistic some of her hacking has been, so they decided to throw some limitations in there.

well to be fair there were a few times last season where she says she can't hack sumthin/it'll take hrs,so I never really thought her hackin skillz were bein overused. They've shown her to have limitations before, but since its not ever other episode sum were complainin. As for her hidin her feelings I agree, she'll try to move on yet still clingin to clark in hopes he'll see her diff(Which he does anti's cant deny it :D ),even AM stated that she wouldn't be around so much if the feelings weren't still there.I do see her tryin to hide them tho cause she's afraid of gettin hurt, but if the BDA ever mans up and tell her how he feels we wouldn't be havin this prob smh. This season imo we'll see both clark&chloe try to hide their feelings but if clark doesn't speakup nothin will come of it.We all kno clark is noble enough to step aside and let another guy date the girl he cares for and this will be no diff, but he has to atleast tell her sumtime this season that he wants to be more than friends. And wit the way tptb r settin things up wit the 2 prior episodes I see chloe findin out about clark feelings late in the season. But we'll see tho

 I was thinkin that too,its not like he would have made a diff in this episode. They did too much by givin lexana a big story smh, should have been more about the new power. But I dont see them mentionin jimmy that much in the episodes he's not in,jus as they do lois alot when she's not around.

I kind of disagree.
There was too much Chlark in 'Sneeze'. First they introduce Jimmy in 'Zod', and they tell us Clark doesn't know who to turn to anymore (very good, I think...). And then? This development gets totally destroyed the very next episode. Suddenly, he is all over Chloe again. The side-kick, the lake, the kite... As if nothing has happened, they were even more a couple than usual. They should have phased-out their together-time a little, instead they went a step backwards towards S5. If, in one of the next episodes Jimmy is then suddenly this super-important guy for Chloe, then I get really p*ssed off, because then that's just bad writing...

Or one could look at it like Clark hanging around Chloe more, after realizing he may be losing her to other guys. It doesn't have to mean regression unless you want to look at it that way.
Viewers would probably be better off to see it as Clark getting jealous of not being Chloe's obsession.
